one week tracking what I eat and so far I have not been telling myself nasty things, but being kind to myself and telling me I am going to achieve my goals. With the tracking page I have been able to visualize exactly what I bring into my body. It's been eye opening and I guess a good start. Staying motivated (being constant) is one of my biggest problems. At home, in my life, in everything, it has always been. I want to change and I will do it slowly. I have promised myself this. I just turned 40 (woohoo) last monday. During that day I thought I would be feeling down, but instead I had so many moments during the day when i just felt, i dont know, grateful, I guess. I was coming down the stairs at home, and suddenly it hit me how blessed I have been during my life, I have a home, I have a car to go places, I have a loving DH and a beautiful daughter and I felt so blessed and grateful. I don't want to waste more time complaining. I won't give up and I will stay focused, even when it gets hard, even if I cry and feel I can't do it. It might take me a year or two, but I will change my life around. I will.
Even tho we don't know each other...may I please tell you how wonderful your doing?!and if I also may...looking at it from another perspective...LOOK,at what turning 40 has GIVEN you...what a gift you are giving yourself kiddo..and you'r loved ones will reap the benifits as well. It's not easy,as all ex smokers know, but ex smokers all know how worth it is a zillion times over. Stay focused and strong......from 8yrs.1month & 18days..unhooked Take care,choices...choices,choices
Congrats on the non smoking... I think its one of the hardest addictions to beat. Keep going, so you don't have to go through those first few days again..
Happy Birthday & on quitting smoking!!!
I know its really hard but it's so worth it! I have been a non smoker for 10 weeks and just started back tracking my food too. It has been a tough road but SOO worth it! If you need a shoulder just pm me!!!
