Default Searching for a bathing suit

So we are going on vacation in August, and I have a bathing suit, but am sure I'll need another seeing as we are going to the beach. So where do you all get yours? You know the figure flattering kind that doesn't cost a million dollars, but makes you look and feel like, well close to a million dollars.

Care to share a picture too.
~ TIA

On torrid.com they have some nice ones. They were half price last week but I'm not sure if the sale is still on.

I found one at Pennys this year that I like really well - it has the black skirt on the bottom part. Also over at AVENUE the are 50% off now and they have cute ones.

I found a new one at JC Penney's (on sale, of course) this year also. It is LE Cove brand (women's size) and has removable straps that button on/off easily. It has a little skirt in front and is really a flattering fit. I tried it on a whim and loved it - it's not the one I thought I'd like best out of the bunch I tried on. I always say, just take everything you remotely like to the dressing room and try them all, I'm always surprised by the one that seems to look best. I actually found 2 that day that I liked but this one won out. Oh, and I usually find that I need a size larger than what I wear in other clothes when it comes to swimsuits.

Good luck Pear! I've sworn off bathing suits for at least another 20 lbs.! (I do have one that I bought through Landsend.com though, that I kinda like, but it was crazy expensive).

i have a sports one for working out at the pool from junonia - it was so expensive but keeps me from getting black eyes from wayward boobs so it was worth it.

i have a leisure one from JCPenney that I really liked because it was a two piece (no belly shows). I've never been the same size on top as on bottom so I was able to get a good fit for both. It has a skirt to cover up bottom and thighs too.

I have a Tara Grinna swimsuit top with some bottoms that I got at JC Penny. If you are top heavy at all I would look into a Tara Grinna because they have great support. I've never liked one single bathing suit I've ever had, but this one I can't get enough of. Tara Grinna suits are available at swimwear specialty stores and you can special order by cup size. It was an expensive top, but well, well worth the money.

I know yall are probably going to laugh but this is what I do. I get a two piece and buy mens board shorts or swim trunks to go over the bottoms. I am bottom heavy so I worry more about the bottom half than the top half.

Fergi,
That's the "in" style right now! They are selling suits that are bikini tops and board shorts for the bottoms. So you are right in style!!
