You are probably dehydrated, make sure to drink some water/gatorade before and during your exercise.

Kaytlin - you've been posting for over a month that you're eating 1000 cals or less a day and that you've been feeling lightheaded, cranky, and getting headache, not to mention suffering pain and cramps when you exercise.

If you're not eating enough to sustain yourself w/out working out, then you're CERTAINLY not eating enough to sustain any type of exercise. Of course you're going to feel faint after exercising if you're trying to exercise hard on 1000 cals a day.

You need to start eating more and eating more protein, esp. A handful of almonds, as you described in another post, isn't going to cut it.

.

Another thing that can make people feel faint is low blood pressure. I hope you get enough calories, though. Hugs to you.

if photochic is right and you are nly eating 1000cals a day that is the culprit right there. Your bloogsugar could be plunging. Dehydration. Or low blood pressure. Personally i have super low blood pressure so i have to eat lots of sodium and if i dont i get dehydrated and get dizzy and pass out. Maybe you should consult a dr. about your diet and exercise plan

- Low caloric intake (less than 1200)
- Low blood pressure
- Dehydration
- Other heart conditions
Is it possible it could be any of these? They are the most common reasons for fainting and dizziness during exercise.

I feel dizzy although I have not fainted. I usually feel really hot when that happens.

Check with your physician....hard for people on a message board to give you a diagnosis, we're not qualified medical personnel. Good luck!
