OK, this is going to sound really stupid, but...
I can't believe this works!
By "this," I mean eating well and exercising. I've lost 11 lbs. since the second week of June. I don't feel deprived. In fact, I feel great!
I was at belly dance class this afternoon and SAW the difference for the first time. I can't stand far enough away from the mirror in my tiny basement studio to see my entire body, head to toe, but there's a great mirror in the dance studio, and I saw myself in it, and I looked GOOD. Better than I have in a long time.
My first thought was, "I can't believe it's working," which is so dumb! OF COURSE it works. It's the calories, stupid. This is how people lose weight. I've just never done it in a way that felt good before.
Silly me.
