I just wanted to ask everyone else how long it took them to lose all there weight to get to there goal on the Atkins Diet?

It took me slightly over a year to lose the weight. I've been on Atkins 4 years & almost 3 months

I'm only about 1/2 way there so no answer to your question but wanted to say Jerseygryl you look wonderful! Often ladies get carried away and try to go too thin so they look bedraggled......you've done it with knowing where you would look best.....and you look fabulous!

She does look fabulous, doesn't she?

I am only down 25 lbs (in 6 weeks) but am hoping to have the other 40 I need to lose gone by Christmas.

At that point, once I'm down to my goal weight (according to doctors, my max should be 130), I may reevaluate and drop some more....or I may decide that 135 looks best and start maintenance.

Either way, will be low carb for life.
