Default My favorite granola

I love granola, but as a bulk eater, can't have too much because even low fat versions can be caloric. However, I have found a new brand!
Our grocery store sells bulk granola's from Nature's Path - and this is my favorite! It is light and crispy, and a 1/2 cup is only 140 calories!

Nature's path Organic Hemp plus granola
1/2 cup 140 calories
5 grams of fat
3 grams of fiber
3 grams of protein

Ingredients: Organic rolled oats, organic evaporated cane juice, organic soy oil, organic brown rice flour, organic flax seeds, organic hemp seeds, organic oat syrup solids, sea salt, organic molasses, organic rice bran extract.

The Ginger Zing is also good, and only 10 more calories per 1/2 cup.

I LOVE Nature's Path. I wish they'd make a version without sugar though!

I like Galaxy Granola. It has 155 cal per half cup with 6 g fiber and 6 g protein. Sugar ranges from 7 to 10 depending on the variety. The Vanilla doesn't add any sugar, but sweetens with pear concentrate. It's really good I add a half cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk for 20 calories, and a bowl of berries on the side. It's very filling.

mmmm that Galaxy Granola sounds delicious!

i buy my granola in bulk at the local co-op... Pistachio and Mulberry Granola. it's so yummy! i don't use very much, just a sprinkle over yogurt. then i mix in a bunch of dried fruit because i haven't found a granola yet that has enough fruit in it!

Thank you. I think I've seen that at my grocery store. I will check it out next time.

I love granola too. One trick I do is get regular granola and mix 1/2 granola with 1/2 fiber one. There used to be a "low fat" granola I could get in the bulk bin in my grocery store but they dont have it anymore.
