So my weight is going down, slowly but steady.
My inches are surely going down.
But what's going on with my body fat? I don't think I'm losing muscle because I can tell on my arms, thighs, and stomach that I am actually gaining muscle. I can even see and feel them. I'm drinking at least 64-96 oz of water daily. I'm also eating lean meat, and lots of veggies. And trying to eat at least one fruit per day. I'm working out at least 30 minutes and most of times around 60 minutes for 6 days per week. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Or what should I do to start seeing loss in body fat?
it'll catch up...just keep it up ~ all works out in the "end" everybody's BODY is different....yours may be reluctant to "give it up" at first. hang tough!
I do Curves, TransFirmation, C25K, Pilates, 30-day Shred, and sometimes 10-Minute Dance series. So... weight training, cardio, cardio/strength, and stretching... all of them I do.
I get the body fat and inch measurement measured at Curves by the same scale and same trainer. Someone told me to reduce fat intakes... It's not like I take lots of fattening food...but does it matter? :P

Body fat changes very slowly. It's not like pounds. For example, my body fat percentage went from 44% to 33%--that's a change of 11%--while my weight dropped 50 pounds. That's considered good--it means that I lost more fat than I did lean body mass. (And I no longer look like a dumpling!)
Just keep on exercising! And I'd also suggest you don't let your fat calories go above 30% of your intake.
JayEll, Thanks for the numbers you gave me. I calculated and wow, you lost 38.61 lbs of fat out the 51 lbs! That's awesome!
I calculated mine and so far, I lost 7.81 lbs of fat, whereas I lost 5.19 of lean body mass. Yes, still not a good number of lean body mass, but at least this makes me happy that I AM losing fat and more than lean body mass, too.
