Default Ideas for 1 dairy 1/2 protein

I just realized I missed 1/2 protein and 1 dairy - does anyone have any ideas of what I can make with these 2?

Also - I bought Riccotta cheese this weekend at the grocery store because it looked yummy - any ideas of what I can make with this?

Although I'm not in LA Weightloss, I'm in a program similar and my quick fix when it comes to 1/2 protein would be to have 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. For the dairy I would go for a 3 oz yogurt and a babybelle. Or just a glass of milk.

Don't know if those work for you, but they do the job for me.

My favorite is a skinny latte or a homemade chai latte with skim milk and sugar twin to sweeten it. I also like to have 1 1/2 oz of cheese for my protein or 1/2 oz of nuts or flavored tofu is great, it is like a creamy dessert! Good luck! I hate it when I am at the end of my day and trying to figure out how to fill the voids!

thanks guys - after looking again I was only missing 1/2 protein, I had a coffee with plenty of milk in the morning- I usually put about 1/2 coffee and 1/2 milk (I guess a latte). I ate some nuts for my missing 1/2 protein.

I am going to have to try the flavored tofu - I love tofu! Where in the grocery would I find that? I know this is off plan, but have you ever tried fried tofu to top a salad? YUMMY!!!

I know i'm way too late with this but something i think is really yummy is grilled chicken with cheese on top and pop in the toaster or micorwave to melt the cheese and thats it. Its filling and you would get in your protein & dairy at the same time.

I live in Canada and buy it at our Superstore. They keep all the tofu, veggie dogs, veggie burgers etc together. It comes in flavors like almond, mango, and two others...I am drawing a blank...It is awesome! I like debbies idea to of chicken topped with cheese...I love cheese because you can count it as either a protein or dairy...except one time I added 3 oz for my protein and 2 for my dairy ...so 5 in total and marked off both protein and dairy, my counselor flipped....I guess this in not recomended on LAWL hahaha!

Maybe your stuff is different from mine, but my books list nuts as a Fat not a protein.

on Free to Live they are listed in both places - 1 oz is a vegetarian protein and then in the Fats section it lists how many of each type of nut counts as a fat.

YOU Scared me! I had to whip out my book to make sure!

I've looked at the tofu and noticed that it has a lot of sugar in it. Has anyone been able to find flavoured tofu without sugar?
