Love them! Maybe not the most comfortable thing ever but it like magically makes the jiggle dissapear. Great for dresses and pant suits. Or if you lost a lot and have that extra skin it holds it where you want it to be. Def worth it. Just make sure you try them on before you buy them on, sometimes they run small

I heard Spanx is a good brand. But I know it doesn't give much firm compression, just enough to smoothen some lumps a bit.

A friend of mine wore another brand called Squeem. Looks like rubber on the outside, but it looked like it sucked all the flabs in. I'm thinking of getting one, too.

There are two kinds of Spanx...one is just like a body-sock panty-hose, the other is super-firm and thick spandex blend kind of material. If you are looking for a firm control and to suck in the fat, go with the thicker kind. And while they do run small, they stretch out a bit as you wear them, so the first few times you try to get it on it might be a b*tch...it gets easier.

I have the super-suck-in-the-fat version and I love it! It has little straps you can connect to your bra so it won't roll down and cause a funky lump in the middle of your stomach. It also gets looser as it goes down the thighs, so it doesn't cause an upside down muffin top mid-thigh, which I've never seen on any other control-type-girdle-thingy. It works great for formal dresses and pant-suits. While it was pricey to get...I think it was worth every penny!

I have the Hide & Seek Body Smoother and I LOVE it. It sucks EVERYTHING in. I bought it from the website and it was $68. I agree, probably cheaper on eBay. I bought some smoothing pantyhose too -- they were like $30. When I put them both on together, I am FIRM! It's a good investment, since I only wear it with dresses and dressy clothes. They seem like they will last a few years. I think it's a good investment.

I don't wear spandx brand instead I think I have flexee which are from JC Penny, I really like them they smooth everything out under my dress clothing, you just need to watch and make sure they are not too tight because I think when I wore them every day under everything they were causing my acid reflux to act up because of the excess abdominal pressure (sorry if that was TMI but I thought I would shear becuase it never dawned on me that the two could be related).

I bought a pair of spanx this week. My sister is getting married on June 28th and I tried my dress on last night with them on. What a big difference! I bought mine on ebay for about $21. Totally worth it.

ahh! i didnt know these miracles existed until i realized e v e r y single girl i know was wearing them under their party dresses at some event recently. i bought a pair about a month ago, and i already want more.

for me it really makes me so much more comfortable in a dress. dresses ARE soooo comfy, but not if youre always yanking your undies around to smooth your belly or trying to perfectly position the sides so they dont cut into your hips!!

and while its a sneaky little secret that i am soooo glad to know about, it also somehow motivates me to keep on going. just knowing how much livelier and more comfortable i am when my body just LOOKS slimmer makes me feel my world will change when i AM fitter!
