LOL see now thats the Red team spirit!! Way to go Muse! We all should be out there enjoying the sunshine and burning some calories while we wait! This is why Muse is my hero!
Yes!! I'm so jealous! I think we still have snow in the forecast so it does me no good getting my flower boxes ready to go. I wonder how many calories writing MY LAST PAPER EVER burns? LOL!
I'm hoping I'm not premature in my assumption that I will be a RED again 1. What would you like us to call you? Laurie, Counting, or CD
2. What eating plan are you using? Calorie Counting - six small meals each day, combined with daily devotions
3. What is your favorite way to exercise? - any way I can. I need to mix it up as much as possible. I do enjoy aerobic dance and walking the most though.
4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? Exercise - I would be a lump if I didn't schedule it and do it, even when I don't feel like it.
5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Staying positive. I'm a positive person that always sees the glass as half full, rather than half empty.
6. What is your short term goal? Dare I say this in public? My short term goal is to lose 7 lbs. (which coincidentally will also meet my long term goal of 80 lbs. lost)
7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? CLOTHES!
8. Best weight loss tip? Drink water and eat often - making sure that you measure your portions
9. Bob or Jillian? No preference - I love them both!
10. Tell us a little about yourself! I am a 50+ woman who has been married for almost 30 years to my darling DH (who has lost over 50+ while supporting me on this journey). I have one DS (married) in seminary and another DS who is a freshman in college (for the 3rd time ). I am a technology coordinator for our school district where I have worked for 17 years (after being a SAHM when the kids were little).
I like to travel, garden, read (audio books mostly these days), walk, sew, cook, shop, and volunteer. I don't like to clean (sorry Shy Moment - it is true), watch TV, run or go to gyms.
I'm looking forward to this challenge and I hope that I can help you (even a little bit) as we take this journey together

Yay! I'm so excited to be on the red team! This is my first TBL challenge!

2. What eating plan are you using? Weight Watchers Flex
3. What is your favorite way to exercise? Biking or wall-climbing
4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? SODA! Or the rampant consumption of empty calories through a liquid diet.
5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Journaling. I LOVE to actually keep a food journal - I know it's crazy but it makes me feel like I'm in control!
6. What is your short term goal? To get down to 145lbs and make it through my friend's wedding in June!
7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? I'm thinking about a new iPod. I have a shuffle now and while I love it, I want to be able to have a separate folder for working out music and driving music rather than having to just completely clear the iPod everytime that I switch!
8. Best weight loss tip? JOURNAL. Write it alllll down and avoid that pesky calorie amnesia
9. Bob or Jillian? I have never actually seen TBL tv show so I can't really say that I have a preference
10. Tell us a little about yourself! I'm a 28 year old married lab tech. I am child-free by choice and have three cats and two dogs. I'm an active volunteer with my local Australian Cattle Dog rescue. I cross-stitch, read and hike for fun!

7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? my husband lol (that's when he'll be home for r&r)
8. Best weight loss tip? write it down, whether it's food diary, journaling, exercise planner, water intake - it keeps you accountable

10. Tell us a little about yourself! I'm an Army wife with 2 small boys (ages 4 and 5) and I work 30 hours a week in a child care center. I run in my spare time, and am getting back into weight lifting after about a 6 week break from it. My husband is in Iraq and this challenge comes at the end of his tour, so it's great timing. I am looking to get to 180 by mid-June and and 170 or less by the end of the challenge. I am going to try super hard this time around! I'm so happy to be on Red again!
