Default Wedding Attire

More questions about wedding attire! I see I'm not the only one I have a wedding to go to June 7th, I really don't know what the dress code is but I think it's a little more on the casual side? I will have to check on that with my date. But what about this dress? Does the color block make it too casual? It is a rayon/spandex blend if that matters and I'm currently a size 12/14....

The dress looks beautiful to me and appropriate if the wedding is on the casual side.
Have fun!

I agree. And if you aren't sure just how casual it is, a string of pearls and a pair of pearl earrings (or some other simple but glamorous jewelry) could raise it a few notches on the formality scale.

I think that's perfect for a casual-ish spring/summer wedding. It's so cute; where's it from? I'm looking for a dress for a July wedding (in North Carolina so it's gonna be HOT), and I don't really know where to start...

I think it is a cute dress. I think that it will work perfect for a semi-casual wedding, and I like the idea of dressing it up with preals (if you don't have any you can get them fairly cheap from overstock.)

Thanks for the input! I do have some really beautiful and unique pearls. I think I'm going to buy the dress regardless of whether or not I wear it to thie specific wedding, it's on sale for really inexpensive ($29.95) and there are other colors too! It's at Chadwicks.com

That dress is really cute! I don't think it would be too casual.
