Default Salsa recipes?

I have a big tub of fresh salsa I have to use tomorrow. Its sort of watery because it's fresh. Any ideas what I can use a big tub of salsa in?

Frozen chicken breast in a crock pot with salsa.

It's very simple. You just put 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts in a crock-pot and cover with a large jar of medium salsa or you can use your fresh salsa. When the chicken is cooked, serve over lettuce and you have a meal! It is super easy and delish!

Mix it with cooked brown rice--instant Spanish rice! Cook the rice for five min or so with the salsa and the rice will absorb the extra water in it. Add some cooked chicken, pinto beans, onions and peppers and you've got a meal.

Southwestern pasta salad: Mix cooked pasta w/the salsa, add some canned beans, frozen corn, black olives, green onions, FF sour cream or plain yogurt, season with your favorite spices (I use cumin, chili powder, oregano, pepper).

I do the same with chicken breast in the oven......pour the salsa overtop and bake it with a lid or foil over it........serve over rice.

You can also do the same with shrimp or fish of anykind!

Agree -- all sound good --

Just to add -- chicken, salsa and a packet of taco seasoning in the crockpot.

I eat salsa almost every day. I use it as a salad dressing. But most days I make myself a veggie platter as a snack - grape tomatoes, baby carrots, raw string beans and cucumber spears - I use the salsa as a dip. Love it.

I poach boneless chicken breast or fish in salsa. Low-cal, low-fat, quick, easy and popular with my family!

Wow thanks, great ideas! I will definitely use them since I am always buying these big tubs of salsa and then nobody eats it until it is close to expiration date and I have to use it up fast! I am going to do the chicken in the crock pot with it. That's simple and I can use it on salad or nachos or with veggies.
