Default WATP....April Chat - All Walkers Welcome

Good morning all!

It is time to get ready for spring. You wouldn't know it's here by some of the weather we've all had.

I got up this morning after having a week off and did the Abs workout. Boy oh boy do I feel it!

I could feel my knee shifting during the warm-up, so I think I'm going to stick to some of the workouts that don't require much walking.

This morning I did the 2 mile walk slim. Still surprising that I can sweat so much so early in the am! I even kept up w/ most of the intervals!

Glad to have you. We all love Leslie

I love the intervals but I can't do the kicks and sides if I am going to do the jogging, to much on my knees. So one interval I do the jogging and the next I don't, instead I just do the fast walking and the kicks and sides. Sometimes, like today, I was able to do it all and my knees not hurt a bit

Today

Walk Away The Pounds With Leslie Sansone 3 Mile Super Fat Burning ( 48 Min )

Walk At Home Walk Slim With Leslie Sansone Fast Start Fast & Firm 4 Really Big Miles ( 59 Min )

Walk At Home Walk Slim With Leslie Sansone Fast Start 1 & 2 Mile Walk 2 Mile ( 33 Min )

I really need to buy more of her dvds. I only have 3. The women's walk, the faith walk, and the one with the 3 workouts (i forgot what its called). I was going to buy the one with that waist band, but I ended up getting a different dvd instead.

Go to your library. You may find her dvds there and can try some different ones before you buy.

Good evening, walkers! I had good intentions of doing 4 Fast Miles today. I didn't have time this morning, but I worked out a plan for doing it after work before supper. Unfortunately, I had a meeting that ran long and I left work late. Then I had to throw together a meatloaf. By the time it was in the oven, I didn't have time for the full workout because I had to go pick up my DD from track practice. So, I hopped on the treadmill and did 20 minutes (all the time I had). I THOUGHT I'd do the 4 miles after supper, but my stomach is rebelling. So I'm going to have to settle for 1.1 miles on the treadmill

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Michele

Remember when you didn't even do that much. Every now and then we have a day like that. 1 mile on the tread mill is better than none at all and doesn't seem like a bad amount to me. Nice to see you found even a little time to get a workout in.

My knee played nice this morning. I did the 1 mile get up and get started.

Shy, you are doing wonderfully! Mid 40s now! Wow! I'm still stuck! I'm really kicking myself because I could have gone into a pharmacy in Cozumel and gotten something. I didn't even think about it and it's impossible for me to get something from doctors around here.

It seems the docs I see want to give me nothing or want to give me hard drugs. My gosh there is no in between with these people. Glad the knee is better. Seems as the weather is getting nicer I am having less problems. Oh they hurt but heck they aren't ever not going to hurt so I don't let that get me down lol.

Hi everyone,

WATP has always been good for me and I just got her newer DVD's with the intervals and stretch band. Wow! The intervals sure kicked my butt the first week but now that I've been doing them daily I can actually do all of them.

hi! I just picked up the WATP DVD, 1, 2 and 3 miles. I have been doing the two miles for the past 3 days and really like. I work up a sweat and that is such a good thing!! Did she do a video for WW? She seems so familiar. Anyway, how has everyone's success been with WATP? I walk alot where I am living currently (no car and I average about 5 miles a day), but I still can feel this in my leg muscles, so I am very happy with that.
