Smile Hey There Everyone!!!

Hi guys, I'm checking in here as I am new to the group and someone has pointed me onto you wonderful ladies for support. Ideally I have about 100 lbs + to lose so here I am. This is a little about me from the intro thread! Anyone know something about the biggest loser challenge coming up?

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ashley. I have struggled with weight my whole life, and trust me having 2 babies back to back didnt help. I now have a 2 year old and an 11 month old. Now is the time for me to get my weight on track! Im doing this not only for me but for my kids. I dont want to be known as the "fat" mom. I want to be healthy and beautiful. I've been doing hip hop abs and started shopping healthy. Im starting my healthy eating today. So far I have had a cup of special k red berries and a cup of 2%milk. I made a chicken salad sandwich. And Im about to eat some grapes. hopefully I can workout after work. I am doing hip hop abs but just recently ordered turbo jam and it is on its way. Im very excited to join you all and could really use a weightloss buddy. Any tips are appreciated, my main struggle is sweets!!!!!

Welcome aboard! You have definitely come to the right place. It sounds like you already have a good plan going. Keep up the good work and check in often (if you have time with your two little ones!). There are always lots of good threads going on.

Hi Ashley! Welcome to the board! My name is Sommer but I'm in the process of finding Fawn, she was my younger self. She was the one who had confidence and all those good things that came with it...lol.

We seem to have quite a bit in common. I am from Reno, but moved here to PA when I was 7. I have struggled with my weight since puberty, but for a very breif time (around my senior year) something happened and I suddenly dropped some weight and was about 130 for a while...that was when Fawn was born, she hung around for a while but then she moved out when the weight came back. (disclaimer... I DO NOT have multiple personalities..lol).

Anyway, I have 2 babies that were born back to back, they are now 2 and 3! They are a year and a day apart... and let me tell you I totally know the damage that Irish Twins (2 babies in a years time) can cause! I didn't lose a single pound from Rylee and boom was preggers with Reagan.

I am just a week ahead of you... so we can take this journey together! It would be great to have a "moving down the scale" buddy! Let me know if that would be cool with you.

Anyway, you found a great place here on the board, I am so inspired and feel so much strength from everyone here! It is amazing! It helps that I was 100% determined to get it all off for good this time to begin with!

You can do it! It's great you are tackling this now. My "back to back babies" are 12, 14, 15 and 17 now and I am just getting a grip on my weight. I have a 2 yr old as well!

This is a great place for support and I look forward to hearing your success!

Ashley, are you following a set plan yet? It might help you to sit down the night before (or in the morning) and plan out your day's menu.

Hey Ashley! I think you've discovered the key to success that often eludes people. You slipped, did not let it turn into an "eat anything I want because already screwed it up" free-for-all" and began planning for how you'll succeed the next day. It's not about making the right choice every time. It's about making the right choice most of the time - and giving yourself plenty of opportunity to do so.
