Great advice already in this thread. Have you read the South Beach Diet book? If so, you'll find great supplementary information in our FAQ here. However, if you haven't read the book, I highly, highly recommend that you do so before starting this way of eating (WOE). It's very difficult to do it without reading the book first--and why make it hard on yourself?
