I don't know whether or not protein powder is ok in P1, but if it is, you should definitely be getting in some type of veggie serving with it.

Check and make sure there isn't any sugar in it. Some protein powders have added sugars.

I use a protein powder called "Zero Carb Isopure". Per serving (2 scoops of powder) there are 0 carbs, 50g protein, ~ 1.5 g fat and 210 calories. It tastes pretty decent, as protein powders go. It's better in 4oz of soy milk (unsweetened) with some water, than it is in water by itself...but that's a personal preference. You can find Isopure at GNC and also online (I got mine from netrition--and I use Cookies and Cream flavor).

Azure- thanks ..ohh cookies and cream sounds delish! I'm not sure what kind i have,i'll check the sugar content tonite.

Either way i dont do very well w/veggies for breakfast, most i can do is a lettuce wrap. I dont eat eggs so omletes and what not are out for me, but i do try and make up later in the day. Its just that i figure something is better than nothing.
