Default Fatworld

There's a video game called Fatworld that I just learned about:
http://www.fatworld.org/game.php

I haven't played it yet, but was wondering if anyone has heard of this? It's all about the socioeconomics of obesity and the long term effects.

Taken from the description: "The game's goal is not to tell people what to eat or how to exercise, but to demonstrate the complex, interwoven relationships between nutrition and factors like budgets, the physical world, subsidies, and regulations. Existing approaches to nutrition advocacy fail to communicate the aggregate effect of everyday health practices. It's one thing to explain that daily exercise and nutrition are important, but people, young and old, have a very hard time wrapping their heads around outcomes five, 10, 50 years away."

Veeeeery interesting....

I just checked it out - because I love online games! And while the premise is good - you get to choose whether or not to make healthy choices - the graphics and controls were reaaaaaaaaaallllllllly slow, and hard to make. It didnt' seem very user friendly. I'd be better off on the treadmill LOL!!! But it was cute!
