Default Eating at Carrabba's, any advice??

Tonight I am going to dinner for my sister's birthday at Carrabba's. For people who don't know it, it's an italian place. I checked their website for nutritional info but they don't have anything except diabetic exchanges. Anyone have any suggestions? I have a protein, starch, 2 veggies, and fat left to eat for the day. Thanks!

I was thinking maybe doing pizza and using it has a carb craver??? Then a side salad for my veggies. What do you girls think?

I'm not very familiar with their menu but that sounds like a good option. Do they have soups? Minestroni (sp?) might be an option too. Just stay away from the pasta dishes...fettucine, etc.

Default thanks

Thanks for the help. I think I'll try doing the pizza, I WI tomorrow so I'll see if it was a good choice or not. Hitting the gym before dinner so that should help too.

some friends of mine own an italian place and they have a vinetian chicken with asparagus or a chicken marsala can be a good option too.

Default Carrabbas can be healthy

I know this is posted after the fact (much later than your dinner) but I found that you can find a healthy meal at Carrabbas. I ordered Grilled Salmon with the vegetable of the day, which tonight was broccoli. It comes with a salad, so I chose the house salad with the dressing on the side, otherwise it is drenched with dressing.

They also have a chicken dinner, Chicken Gratella, that is simply a chicken breast grilled with olive oil and herbs. Perfect!

Hope that helps anyone headed there for dinner anytime soon!
