Default Haven't posted in a while...down 10 more pounds

Hello all! I have been out of state and very ill for the past two months, so I haven't been reading and posting. But I'm feeling better, home and ready to get back to work. I lost 10 lbs over the holidays due to an ulcer and bad yeast in my esophagus. I never want to get that sick again!!!!

I'm just amazed at how much I missed reading the posts and seeing everyone's progress while I was "gone." I'm 35 lbs from my first goal which is to be under 200 lbs by my birthday. I am hoping I will be able to make it.

I can't eat anything with much fat in it or it makes me sick, so that helps. It does make it quite a challenge to eat away from home. I'm hoping that I will be able to find interesting low fat recipes and stay away from sugar and simple carbs.

Anyway, I wanted to say hi again and get back on track. I would rather lose the weight slower and be healthy so that I can keep it off permenantly.

blessings,
Samantha

Samantha, its so good to hear from you again. So sorry to hear that you've been ill. I don't know if 35 pounds by your birthday would be realistic, but I'm sure you'll make progress and have a great loss either way.

Default unrealistic loss

yes Rhonda, I agree that it is probably unrealistic to reach my goal by April, but at the rate I'm losing now, it might happen. I would actually rather not reach my goal and lose it slow enough to keep it off. :-)

I have been dancing around the house today. It's so good to not be as sick. My daughters were laughing at me, but it feels so wonderful to move!

Blessings,
Samantha

Hi...so glad you are past that illness. It's a hard way to take off weight. Be well. I know you'll find foods that will keep happy and also keep you on plan.

Take care.

Default thanks for all the welcomes!

Thank you all for saying hi! I really need to hang out here and read posts. I want to get serious with my exercise now that I can get out of bed. Also, I want to try everything I can not to allow the yeast to come back!!! What a lot of pain that was. So, I need to stay on my plan and up my exercise. I'm so excited! I am wearing a XL down from a tight 3X!!

You all are such an inspiration to me and have been for months! I'm so grateful.

thanks!
Samantha
