Talking Want Brownies?

Thought I should share my latest find... No Pudge brownies!

They're a bit more pricey than your typical brownie mix, but they are only 2 WW points (prepared). You just mix the brownie mix with no-fat vanilla yogurt and bake. They absolutely satisfy a sweets cravings without putting you off plan.

Those are my favorite too! To prevent overdoing it, I just make a single serving (110 cals) in a small pyrex dish in the microwave. The instructions for that are on the side of the box.

I could not stick to just one, so I don't think I'll be trying them. Thanks for posting about it, though.

Hmm...maybe I could try the method of making one at a time. I am trying to stay away from chocolate for now.

Can you post some of the other nutritional info? Fat, carbs etc. Are these available in the regular grocery store?

I will post more nutrition info when I get home from work today. And yes, they were available from Safeway, so I assume most grocery stores carry them. It's a tall thin bright pink box, with a pig on the front with a tape measure around her waist... No Pudge is the brand.

I'll update with more nutrition facts as soon as I get a chance!

And if you would like to save the money here's a recipe for them. Same great taste much more cost effective. I included a single serving size too. Look for the ** at the end.

SASSY'S version of the NO PUDGE BROWNIES
Makes 16 servings @ 2 points per serving

(don' let the name fool you its another Copy-Cat )

Ingredients
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 c fat free vanilla yogurt (or use plain yogurt and 1 tsp vanilla extract. tastes just as good)

Directions
1.Mix all ingredients together until well mixed and glossy.
2. Bake in an 8x8" pan sprayed with Pam.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Top with FF Cool Whip.

**Individual brownies: 2 Tbsp cocoa mix and 1 Tbsp Fat Free vanilla yogurt. Stir together until glossy. Microwave 1 minute on high. **

Oooh! Good plan! They are a bit costly, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, as promised, here are the pertinent stats (per serving): Calories (as prepared) 120, Total fat 0g, Cholesterol 0g, Sodium 100mg, Total Carbs 28g, Fiber 1g, Sugars 22g, Protein 2g

Cut the 8x8 pan into 12 equal sized brownies, and you have 2 WW points per brownie.

Okay, Sassy, I'm confused. For the individual brownies, what about all the other ingredients? Is it just the cocoa mix and the yogurt? Cause that sounds yummy, but I can't see how it makes a brownie. (chocolate yogurt... mmmm.)
