Thumbs up Snap Fitness Members

Last night while I was hitting the ARC Trainer I tuned into the Dance Station in the music stations section.....WONDERFUL! It totally keeps you motivated and moving, and anyone is looking for a pick me when they hit that lul, or a high energy workout tune in. I'm not sure on the channel number i'll check it out tonight and update tomorrow, but it's totally worth it.

Oddly enough, I was getting ready to post a question for Snap Fitness members when I saw this post. So, instead of starting a new thread, I'll just ask here.

There's a Snap Fitness opening down the street from my house in early March. It looks like it'll be open 24-hours and it will be cheaper than the YMCA (where I currently go). For anyone who is a member of a Snap Fitness, do you like the facility? Is the equipment nice, and is there enough of it? I had never heard of Snap Fitness before, so I'm curious ...

I actually have a Gold's Gym membership in addition to Snap....so i can relate. I love the fact that they are open 24/7/365. Including holidays and what not which is nice. Allows more opportunity to work around the busy times. My other gym doesn't offer that. I like that the equipment is all new, and things seem to get repaired quickly. It was difficult to get used to the come in workout and go atmosphere...where at other gyms (the Y, Gold's, Lifetime) it's more of an experience if that makes sense, but i suppose it's what you make it. Each of the cardio machines at mine has a tv mounted to it which is nice different to get used to but nice. As far as enough of it...really depends at what time you'll be there from my experience. I mainly used the cardio equip and a few free weights so i've never really run into that. sometimes it does seem a bit crowded, but if you have other gyms in your area that may aleviate some of that. Generally they'll let you try it out for a week to see what you think. Hope some of this helps....all in all...any gym is what you make it...
