My dh and I are both teachers at different school districts. Both of us have a snow day today! My typical reaction to finding out that I have a snow day is: "Yay! I can lounge around watching crappy daytime TV. Hooray!"
I was actually shocked with myself this morning. The first thing I said to my dh when I learned of our snow days was, "Awesome! Let's go to the high school, so I can work out a lot today!" Man. . . I never thought I would think this way!
Strange & exciting to think this differently, isn't it? I do the same about my after work exercise now. I'm sad when I miss it for whatever reason! Baffling...
Havingfaith that is awesome!!! We have a snow day also and I am off today so I couldn't believe that I let my kids sleep and I got up at 6am to do a small work out. It feels good not to be a couch warmer as much! I hope I work up to your progress. CONGRATS!!!
Me, I'm looking forward to the 10-15 cms. we're supposed to get tomorrow because we have a realllly long, wide driveway (we're in the country) and we don't have a snowblower. Guess who gets to shovel? Of course, about halfway through the driveway, I'll be cursing and muttering and wishing DH would get home to finish it off (he won't though LOL)
