I've been in your shoes! For years I would start out with great gusto and dedication, then fall apart a week or two later (or a day or two ). It took me a long time to realise that it wasn't because I was lazy or undisciplined- I was just trying to do too much too fast. It's like I was trying to jump up a flight of stairs instead of taking it one step at a time (I like metaphors )

This might be your problem too. Make a few changes and maintain them for a few weeks until they become more like habits- then add some more. And like others said, don't let one mistake turn you off the whole plan. Perseverance is the key, but if you've tried something several times without success, you should think about changing your approach. You can do it!

i think thats why i usually do fall off, my boyfriend and i will fight and i go straight for the ice cream. and i get so insecure, so we fight more. i mean sometimes he'll be dazing out and i swear it looks like he's staring at other girls . he promises he's not and deep down i know he would im just paranoid . but im always thinking hes looking for something better (smaller) . which is weird because ive been big my whole life and ive known him since elementary , so i know he loves me for me. but i sometimes let it get the best of me im trying though . Thank you so much coming here everyday reading the replies really keeps my day going
