Sports Bras: Hold'em down! haha
Okay, anyone out there with a bigger chest (C-D)... any suggestions for a bra that really holds them still? :?: I usually wear a regular bra under a compression bra, but the "girls" still move around too much and its uncomfortable... :o
I was thinking about trying one of the new Victoria's Secret bras because I got a $10 coupon, but if there is a better option, I'd love to hear about it! |
Me too - anytime I've seen advice on a good sports bra for larger sizes (I'm DDD) it always says "wear 2". And that just sucks!
Hey there -
Try the Title 9 Sports web site. They have a zillion kinds of super-serious sports bras. They're not cute, and definitely not cheap -- but they'll certainly keep things er... contained. :o good luck! cheers! :hat: paula |
Try the new Victoria's Secret bra. I'm only a B but with the medium support bra NOTHING moves. They have 4 levels of support so you try the firm or maximum (I think that's what they're called) if you're worried. Not to mention this is the only bra that gives me cleavage :o
I always wear two, it SUCKS
I know... you feel like your breasts might as well be melting when you have two on... not to mention the fun lines it leaves on your skin... I want perky little boobs that are contained with a measley little sports bra from Target that only costs $10 *sigh*
and I LOVE how putting two on squashes them so much that they're practically up under your chin and you can't breathe! that's AWESOME. BOOO on boobs!
Yeah, not breathing is really helpful during workouts :) Especially when you're laying on your stomach or on a stability ball and you feel like you're suffocating so you can't stay in position... I second the BOOOOOOOOO

Im a 42 DD and i used a hanes sportsbra with the racer back. It works pretty good. They move a little but not nearly as much as some others.
I went and bought some sports bras last weekend and found myself buying some cheapies in Target. They were only $20 AUS but are great. I am a C and found that these don't squash me all up and I can actually get it on without struggling around the armpits (the type that go over the head).
I have a philosophy at the moment of not spending too much money on clothes, etc, that (fingers crossed!) I will only have to replace in a few months time. I am hoping to go down a few sizes soon. Then I will be getting a state of the art bra! |
One time on Oprah there was a big rage over this sportsbra made by Enell. So I bought the pricey bugger. It is the best thing ever! Even after my second child when I was poppin out of a DD it still held everything in.
Try www.enell.com. Pricey but working! |
Hmm... there is actually a store here that sells the Enell bras... perhaps I will go over there and try one on... although jumping up and down in a fitting room might scare the other customers.
There's no way I could wear 2, I'm a D. But only wear 1 bra I think I would choke to death if I wore 2.
God I wish this thread even applied to me rofl...I could run without one and be fine...boo on small boobs!
I'm new around here but just had to comment haha... I'm a 36DD and in order to run and be comfortable I wear one light support racerback bra plus 2 Old Navy racerback tanks with built in bras. My boobs haven't been that flat since 3rd grade but it holds them in nicely! I refuse to run with an underwire, so i guess I'm stuck wearing 3. Under Armour has started making some heavy duty bras and you can get them at Sports Authority or Dick's.
