wierd or bad

so ok - I have always called my belly my baby - but this may be a bit ridiculous. I shot a movie this past semester which involved a pregnant actress - played by a women in a pregnant suit - and thus bought her some maternity clothes. so the due date for returning the clothes have passed - and well - since I have not bought new clothes in a century, I tried a sweater on, and have now worn it out twice. Its a great color for me, and a size small, needless to say, I def hide the lable :) also it is target bought and I am a size L at least at target. so then tonight i passed the size 6 jeans and as a joke I was like - ok I will try them on too. and well - they fit pretty well too.

so this is good - I have some new clothes to wear. and bad - i really do have a baby :) and its time it left me. but the question is - do I really wear the jeans out? do I get boosted by the fact that they are a size 6 - but have a big blue belt like stretchy thing on the top - and do I buy more maternity clothes ;) I swear it doesn't look like I am having a baby - its just that the room i think it leaves bodes well for my bigger boobs and belly :) i guess - and not so huge arms. I don't know - maybe it is since I haven't bought clothes ina while.... haha...tempted to wear the jeans out tomorrow - but the stretchy top - looks beltish - but - if anyone asks... hahaha.

Wear the clothes - waste not want not!

You can hide the stretchy band thing with a top and as long as they don't make you look preggers then where's the harm...?

And if anyone asks, tell them it's due in September ;)

I say wear 'em. Who cares!!! I don't think it's weird.

I say wear them, if it makes you feel more comfortable

I would say to not wear the jeans. You should be wearing regular clothes. After I had my baby, I wore my maternity clothes for awhile. At least I had clothes that fit me. But I also used them as a way to hide my fat body. I thought I did not look so bad. And I did not rush into losing weight.

I think you should try and find regular clothes that fit. You will really be able to tell if you are losing weight if you are NOT wearing the stretchy bands. That has been one of the most rewarding things for me during this weight loss. Going down size to size. I started at a 16, right after the baby, and I am now a 6/8.

The sweater- again I think you should be in regular clothes. Maternity clothes have more room in the belly area, so does it poof out in that area? I guess the sweater wouldn't be so bad to wear, but not the jeans.

years ago i bought some maternity tops secondhand but i didn't realize they were secondhand. i wore them (even after i found out they were maternity clothes).

the pants though i'm not to sure about. they're made to expand...and expan you will. i recently had a baby and i wore my mat pants afterwards (even though i fit my regular clothes) and was in no hurry to lose weight b/c the pants always seemed to fit so well (cause they're expandable). before i knew it i was wearing the mat pants all the time and then i could barely get on my regular pants...

I'd say wear them for now. No use in letting them go to waste. However, realize that you're not going to be able to judge by them if you're losing/gaining weight.
I'm having to ween myself off of wearing yoga pants all the time. They are sooo comfortable, but I realized that one of the reasons I like them is because when I overeat, they don't feel tighter.

Im the queen of wearing anything BUT jeans. Well i mean, i wear Jeans out 99% of the time, but i always feel uncomfortable because none of them fit right.. They are either too high or too low, esp because i have that left over pooch from having a baby on TOP of being fat lol. But i have a bunch of pairs of baggy velour pants i got from walmart that i wear to death at home lol And ive got a bunch of track pants, etc basically anything with an elastic waist. I used to LIVE in jeans.. man what i wouldnt do for a comfy pair of maternity pants lol (my sister got pregnant and i gave them to her) :-( oh well.. hopefully some day soon ill fit into my old jeans again! lol

The jeans, I wouldn't do...simply because of the reasons everyone else has stated. You won't be able to judge your loss, non-scale-wise, and it may encourage you to fall off the wagon, since all your pants fit...The sweater, I say why not? It's just a sweater after all!
