I just got the Nuva Ring yesterday and was wondering if anyone else has it or has ever tried it? Has anyone gained weight from being on it? Last time I was on the pill (2 years ago) I didn't gain weight, but am afraid this is going to hinder my weightloss efforts. Just curious.

Love the Nuva Ring! It really shouldn't affect your weightloss efforts (unlike Depo!)....pregnancy sure would though.

My sister is on it, she hasn't gained any weight. I remember a couple months ago there was a big thread on "the pill" and gaining weight, if you wanna try and find it.

I've been on the Nuva Ring for well over a year and it hasn't affected my weight at all. You really only think about it two times a month (in/out) and that's about the extent of the impact it will have on the rest of your life.

No weight gain here either. I have been on NuvaRing for about 1 1/2 years and I must say it's absolutely wonderful IMHO.

Thanks for all the info! I'm glad I decided to try it as I didn't like the pill when I was on it. I would always forget and I would also get bad stomach cramps.

I'm not in my twenties, but I thought I'd poke my nose in to say that I love love love the nuvaring. I'm on my second year on it. No weight gain, no nausea, just easy easy bc.
