I have been kinda watching this season and I did tonight, the guys performances. I don't know if any of you gals watched, but that guy Ace, the one who sang "Father Figure" makes me giggle like a school girl. I am not one of those chicks who always is falling over myself for cute guys, but he is just...I don't know. I love him though.

I wanted to not like Ace. I wanted him to be like Constantine last year (who always made me feel like I needed a shower to wash of the ickiness after he sang). But he is just too cute AND he can actually sing!

Overall, I thought that the guys were so much better than the women last night. There were a couple of female standouts, but I think that narrowing the field of men down to six will be tougher.

Aside from Ace's general yumminess, I'm also loving Elliott Yamin (I think that's his last name - the kid with the funky beard) and Chris Daughtry. Will Makar also won me over. He's precious.

I know!!! And did you see Ace's brother? He was just as hot! Voice wise though I am loving Chris and Taylor.. We'll see.

I like Will! He's adorable. My husband says he looks like Miles from the show "Surface." I think he looks like a young Donny Osmond.

Most of the guys were very good. It will be hard narrowing them down. I think I'm always harder on the girls because their personalities and looks get to me more than their singing.

It's all Taylor and Ace for me. I'm glad to see Mendisa doing so well. That chick can sing! And after what Simon said to her, I think she held her self up high and marched right over him. But after watching both the men and women sing this week, I think the guys have better talent than the girls. Here's hoping! Ace is delish! I love Taylor's style though. Kind of a hidden cool cat in there. And that harmonica! Puddle O' Jenni. Lovely.:D

I really like Taylor too-he's strange, but in a cool sort of way. He gives me chills every time he sings, it's so weird!
I think Kevin is adorable too. He doesn't have the best talent, but I give him alot of credit for singing as well as he does with a lisp!! I wanna pinch his cheeks too! ;) LOL!
I think America made the right choices with everyone who went home last week. I do have alot of fav's this year...it's going to be tough to illiminate people every week! Especially 2 at a time!!

Hey girls! I had to chime in here.......I think Chris Daughtry is AMAZING!! I love to watch him sing....I bet half of his votes came from me!! ;)

Ok, I've switched to being in love with Chris, oooooooooo!!! Ace didn't thrill me this week. Out of the girls I think I like Lisa Tucker the best, she is really good. But Chris, yea, Chris has got it!

Chris sang hemmorage right? It was AMAZING. Coming from a huge Fuel fan too.

Chris was AWESOME last night!! I love him! He's so good! He's got my vote! I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the whole thing! Simon was right about what he said last night....I could definitely hear him on the radio too! I would buy his CD! :carrot:
Ace bombed last night. I thought he was horrible. He reminds me of someone who should be on a soap opera...kinda pretty boy, kinda cheesy...I don't know....He's cute, but...I don't think he's GREAT. He's got that "I should be in a boy band and sing love songs" vibe...I hate that!
Out of the girls, I hope Brenna goes home...can't stand her! I really like Kelly Pickler & Melissa from FL though, I voted for them.
We'll see what happens tonight! I think Heather cox is going home and maybe kinnik (She sounded awful too the other night). I think the guys have blown me away more than the girls this year! Can't wait to see what happens! :hyper:

Yeah, I hope that crooner guy goes home tonight! I don't know why, but I just can't stand him, I hate the style and I hate the faces he makes when he's singing. I don't get to watch the vote off show because Thursday is Survivor night, so you gals will have to let me know!

Chris--hands down, THE best total package in this competition. He has the looks, the voice, the personality, the confidence, and none of the bad that comes with it (not conceited, not too flashy, not trying too hard to impress, etc.). He also seems to be the only one singing REAL modern songs, something we ould listen to on the radio.

That crooner has GOT to go. No one's going to listen to him who is under 75 years old. I also want the blonde chick to go (the one who sang Hero--can't remember her name right now, though). For the girls, I think it's obvious who has the most talent (Mendisa, Paris, and Lisa) and who is the most likeable (Kellie), but I really am pulling for Chris to go all the way and leave the girls in the dust :p Also, I think the girls have proven their talent and will do well regardless of whether or not they win on AI, ya know? same with Taylor Hicks--he's absolutely adorable, and I think he'll do well after the show even if he doesn't make it.

Ace...well, he just reminds me too much of Constantine (whom I wasn't particularly fond of), and after last night's performance, I don't mind admitting that I'm not a fan ;)

The blonde girl is Heather Cox, the one I mentioned earlier. I think she's gonna go...she doesn't stand out too much besides the fact that she's not that good.
I agree about the crooner too. I don't like his style either. It's boring to me.
I'm not a fan of Ace either, I'll admit it. I didn't really see what the craze was from the beginning anyway....I'm not that fond of long hair.

I'm hoping Brenna and Heather Cox go!! As far as I am concerned they can end the show now and give it to Chris! ;)

I think Chris is so hot because, as someone else said, he doesn't seem conceited at all. It seems to come so easy to him and it drives me CRAZY!!!

Ace seems too confident and cheesy with some of his "dreamy" looks at the camera....I don't think they are that dreamy, but I think Ryan Seacrest referred to that last week.

I find the crooner boring too, so he can go.

I was SO happy when Brenna got voted off! I love Chris. He totally blew me away last on Tuesday. Fantastic job! I have to give a shout out to Mandisa. She is doing great! I gotta say also I wanted Bucky to go! He drove me insane with his rendition of The Thunder Rolls.

i really love kellie.. i dunno its her personality more than anything else i downoaded one of her songs and she doent sound as good as that lil short black girl.. but shes still really good.. kellie reminds me alot of myself.. out going and talks alot.. only difference is she has a great body.. lol and shes blond.. of the boys idont know who i like i havent even seen any of them profrm yet.. i work to much.. but everyoneis talking about chris and that grey hard guy.. who knows i still think this is goin be a girl idol again.. and no one has really stood out to me like carrie and bo did last season they where my fav from the very beginning last year.. just as well good luck to all

YAY I love when the guys sing. I have to say though, Mandisa, Kelly and Kathrine did pretty good last night. Mandisa rocked. I loved her brown shirt last night. I wonder where she got that. Ugh, I want Bucky to leave, he drives me insane. Whoops! Time to watch! More comments later :)

Will is my fav. Tonight's song by him wasn't so great, but he still got my vote!

I hope Bucky and Will go tonight. If Bucky ends up with enough votes from country fans, then I hope Gedeon goes. I don't think he's a bad singer, but I think he is quite conceited, and I just can't stand his mannerisms and the way he talks. I just don't think he would make a good "famous person," ya know?

In any case, so long as Chris and Taylor remain, then that's all that really matters to me :D

Chris all the way, Taylor rules and I like Elliot too. I can do without will and bucky. As far as the girls, I like Lisa, and that's about it. I feel like the guys are much better than the girls this year! I am so over Ace too!

I am glad that Will, Giddeon, Ayla, & Kinnik went home last night. Those were all my picks. I think Giddeon is a much better singer than Kevin, but I still like Kevin a lot better, so I'm glad he made it into the top 12. I'm glad bucky made it too, I was a little worried about him.
Chris & Kelly Pickler are my favs....it's going to be hard next week to get rid of people!! :(

I was just starting to warm up to Gedeon. I'm a big fan of the Marvin Gaye/Percy Sledge/Al Green type of music, and I thought he was great on Wednesday night (and last night). I wish we could swap him for Melissa.

I'm kinda surprised that Ayla went already. I was never much of a fan of hers, but I think as an American Idol, she does a bit better than some.

I am glad Gedeon is gone. I like that type of music, too, but likeI said, I just couldn't stand HIM. He's not a bad isnger at all, but his attitude and mannerisms just kinda always made me want to punch him in the face :o

But wait, don't they usually bring someone back? Like a wind card that had previously been eliminated? When do they do that? I remember them doing it in other seasons, but I've never watched an entire season from beginning to end before. Who do you think they'll bring back?

Yeah, I think Clay was a wildcard, wasn't he?

I thought Will done a much better song than Kevin did vocally. I liked him better than Kevin for sure. I'm glad Taylor and Mandisa did well though. They are my top picks still!

I liked Will, I was dissapointed he got kicked off and not Kevin. Chris is my favorite by far. None of the girls really stand out except Paris and Mandisa. Kelly is adorable but I don't think she's as good as a couple of the others.

I am sort of shocked that Mandisa got kicked off! I thought and still think that she is fairly decent vocally. I must admit though that I think she could have a better career as a gospel singer rather than the American Idol. Agree? Disagree?

Well well, our darling Bucky is gone. Can't say as I'm too sad to see him go. We were discussing who we think is going to be in the top four, here are my choices in order from bottom to top: Taylor, Kelli, Katherine and then Chris. I wouldn't be surprised to see a shift in the order but I really think those four will hang in there. Last night was interesting, getting to know the singers and all.

I do agree that those will probably be the top 4, and I'm definitely still rooting for Chris to be #1. I wish Kellie had gotten voted off ong ago, but I know I am in the minority on that one :dizzy: I also actually like Elliott, but I don't think he's attractive enough to make it to the top (I hate saying that, but it IS the entertainment business we're talking about!).

I'm definitely glad to see Bucky go. I'm not sure how he hung on for so long. I hope Ace goes next week...IMO, he should have been gone long ago as well (amd Mandisa should still be in it!). But, I guess the 12-year olds of America think a bit differently :p

Bye bye Bucky!!! I agree, I don't really like Kellie that much, I think she has played that dumb hick things too much. I wasn't surprised to see Mandisa go at all really. I love Katherine and Chris, Elliott and Taylor and also my faves, those 4 left to last for sure. The only reason Ace has hung around this long is because he's pretty, and I think that has just barely squeeked him by. I think that Chris will probably win, but I really like Katherine as well. And for some reason Elliott grows on me every week!

I actually mute the TV when Kellie starts talking, I am just so over her. I love Chris, Taylor and Katherine. :)

I'm all for Taylor and Chris. I like Katherine ok, but I don't usually buy women singer cds. I have no idea why, I just like my music to be men or groups. Kelli drives me insane! We mute her too when she comes on. Being southern is one thing, being a dumb hick is another. I'm an Ozarks Hillbilly and I'm not even that hick. I like Elliot but I have to agree that I don't think he'll make it to the top.

Well, well. I must say I was surprised to say goodbye to Ace. I thought for sure after Kellie's preformance on Tuesday she would be the one leaving AI. I was not an Ace fan so it was a bit of a dull moment for me. I was really surprised to see who all was in the bottom three though.

I thought Kellie was gone too, but I wasn't surprised that Ace went, especially if it were between he and Chris!!!

I for one am soo glad to see Ace go. He (IMO) only performed good some of the time. He had more bad performances than good. He was too fake, just totally not the type of guy to "float my boat".

Im over Kellie too but she has had more good performances than Ace. Almost everyone that was voted off should have went before Mandisa. I was shocked to see Chris and Paris in the bottom three.. I think they were the best of everyone. I think the top 4 will be Chris, Katherine, Paris, and Elliott.

Im pretty much over Taylor as well, hes annoying, and I almost always agree with Simon. Hes very nice, but acts too much like Ray Charles, and we all know Ray Charles was pretty much "geeked" his whole career. Makes me wonder about Taylor.

Paris annoys me with her Mickey Mouse voice, its almost as though she trys to make it more squeaky just to hear" Wow that big voice came out of such a little speaking voice".

Elliot, Chris, and Katherine - I have no complaints on these. As far as Elliott not making it because of his looks. Look at Clay Aiken?! Hello..

I'm a Chris fan over here!! I love his voice. He's cute too (Like my husband ... bald and muscular)

I can't wait to see Paris go. I think she is milking that cutesy voice a little too much. Thaaaaaaank Yeww) I agree with Ready2ShedLBS. I think she likest when people say that. Too, I don't understand. Isn't her grandmother famous. I'm sure she has connections. I thought American Idol was for everyday people. "undiscovered talent"

Elliot is great. And I like Taylor (after all, I'm a Bama girl) Kelli has a good voice, and performs well I thing, but I agree. Shes too dingy! Kathrine is great, but not my style of music.
