Default exercisin' ideas

i have been walking/jogging/running with my boyfriend's dog for about 2.5 miles as far as cardio goes. the thing is, i know i need to incorporate weights. I have 5 and 7 lb freeweights at home and i just bought a karen voight circuit training dvd today at best buy and it's good (just did the arm workout and they're still burning ) do any of you know any good exercise dvds, classes at the gym, machines, or anything you do for exercise that have worked well with you? I bought a stability ball but I can't find any DVDs to use with it. I bought a book for it but it's going to be returned b/c I really can't work out and look at the book. I'm definitely a follow the leader kind of workouter, hahah.

oh by the way, while i was at best buy checking out the exercise dvds i came across carmen electra lap dance and striptease workouts, hahahah. maybe i'll buy one of those when i'm not ashamed to take off my shirt and use those striptease skills i pick up. my boyfriend might enjoy. lol

snow tubing
Swinging with the kids
Extended shopping trips Go to an outlet mall
Lifting your kids for airplane dives (good resistance training)
Game of Horseshoes (haven't done this yet)
Stretches as a way of meditation
Go to a new town and play tourist (on foot)


Maybe this summer I will go horseback riding.

Sit on your stability ball and use your hand weights for arm work. Just sitting on the ball works out your core. Also, you can use the ball for crunches, as well as lots of other exercises -- they're fabulous!

I actually bought one of the Carmen Electra DVDs. I haven't tried it yet because my BF's mom is visiting. I don't think it would be an appropriate time to stick it in the DVD player. But, I'm looking forward to trying it, and maybe using some of the moves!

I don't do the strip tease thing, but I do take a cardio seduction class that's pretty fun. You learn a sexy routine over the course of 4 weeks. I definitely don't look sexy doing it, but it's fun and gets me sweating.

I also, just recently started taking a pilates class which I like as well. It gives me a great workout in the ab, legs and back areas. Many people say the dvds are great as well.
