Default I've met my first months goal!

I have these little monthly goals of 8 pounds a month. I have already met my goal for this month. I'm so happy. I cant believe that I did it. I went to the doctor on the sixth of this month and told him that I was seriously going to lose weight and asked him what he thought of that and what method I should use to get started. He then told me that I should eat every 3 hours and that I needed to walk 30 min atleast 3 times a week. Well I have been walking 30 minutes every day and eating every three hours. I have been buying the frozen dinners, the cheepest best tasting and the healthiest ones. I dont even have to count calories. Its like I dont even have a chance to think about losing weight before I have already lost two pounds. I have lost two pounds a week. and that is healthy! The doctor said it was ok so i'm happy with that. I think that the most important thing is that I dont deprive myself of anything that I love. I have a candy bar if I want it, or cheese. Its just smaller portions more times a day. I cant wait to tell my husband the good news when he gets home. Thanks for listening to all of my rambling, I have a tendency to do that a lot.

Yay! Good for you! Sounds like you've found a sensible plan that works for you. What's your next month's goal? Post here when you're successful at that one, too!

I just have a goal of 8 pounds a month so I made a chart with a 2 pound decrease for every week and 8 pounds for every month. So I bought stickers and when I meet a little goal I get a little sticker, then when I meet my monthly goal I get a sticker that is modivational, you did it, keep trying, good job, ect. It works for me, that is all that matters really.

Thanks fantastic - good for you

Make sure you reward yourself (as if losing 8lbs wasn't enough of a reward) - perhaps a manicure, massage or just a night at the movies.

Good job

I went shopping for clowns today. I found one. And I got a cute backpack purse that is fluffy and green. I dont know when I will use it but it was cute. I collect clowns and I always wanted a clown purse. I searched and searched and couldnt find the right one. So after months of searching I got frustrated. So, I made my own. It turned out so great. I got these patches that are clowns and put them on the front. It is so cute. I love it. I think that finding a new clown to add to my collection is enough reward for me.

Just out of curiosity, about how many clowns do you have? (Trying to imagine a huge pile of clowns hanging out somewhere... )
