Okay, this is totally embarrassing, I have been overeating this weekend.

Nov. 12

Breakfast:
multigrain cheerios w/skim milk

Lunch:
Tex-Mex place -- two chicken tacos, most of the refried beans, some rice, and a bunch of tortilla chips

Dinner:
Ethiopian food -- stewed lamb, chicken, beef, lentils . . . all with copius amounts of that great spongy bread and a glass of honey wine

I am totally embarrassed about this because I continued to eat after being totally full. I have been trying to get my BF to help me out -- he actually took my fork away from me at the Tex-Mex place because even after giving him my third taco since I was full I was still munching on the beans. Different friends coming into town today -- hopefully I will be able to control myself better. At least I got a lot of walking in.

Nov. 13

Breakfast:
lite english muffin
one egg white
sip of OJ

Lunch:
one and a half cranberry muffins (they are about 130 cals each! homemade!)
2-3 slices (deli-style) of low fat/low salt turkey breast
two bites of wheat bread
sip of milk

Snack:
tall nonfat chai from Starbucks

Dinner:
(at restaurant)
one and a half slices bread w/butter
half a piece of bruschetta
about 1/3 (or less) of my entree -- chicken cacciatore with angel hair pasta

Snack:
sip of milk

I bought some fresh cranberries at the grocery store, which is why I baked cranberry muffins (luckily I found/modified a healthy recipe) -- any suggestions on what to do with the rest of the cranberries? All I can think of is cranberry sauce and desserts! Maybe I will make cranberry pancakes with my Lite Bisquick this weekend.

Default Weekend Eating

Well, I didn't journal my food over the weekend, but I feel like I need to admit/own up to the bad things I did. Maybe this is a hint that I need to log my food on the weekend?

Anyway, Friday was good. Saturday got ugly in the evening. After dinner, which was pretty healthy, BF got out the ice cream. Usually, I'm pretty good about just eating a bite, but I got a little out of control. Instead of his usual chocolate, which I don't like, he had almond hazlenut. Well, one bite wasn't enough! So, I ate WAY too much of it. Then, we headed off to a party where I got even more out of control. I can't remember the exact number of shots I had, but I had at least three caramel apple shots, at least three melon balls, two buttery nipples, a couple cinnamon shots, two beers and three glasses of wine. Yes, all in one night, all in one sitting. I'm really embarassed/horrified at typing that out. (Hopefully, that's enough to prevent me from doing it again.) It's just disgustingly over indulgent!

Sunday wasn't too great, either. It involved Mexican food and lots of chips.

I've really got to get these weekends under control. It really is a waste of all my hard work during the week.
