Awesome Food Find!

  • La Tortilla Factory Wraps, made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil - bought these at the grocery store last night after hearing about them in a fitness mag, and they are so good, not to mention low fat (and no saturated fat), low sugar, high fiber, and packing a healthy punch of protein. They are only 90 calories for a big 9-10 inch tortilla, they look like "normal" flour tortilla, and taste just as good if not better. They have 13 grams of fiber per wrap!!! Plus, they come in some fun flavors. They're more expensive (I paid about $3.50 for 6), but man, are they worth it!

    Breakdown:
    1 wrap: 62 g
    Calories: 90
    Fat: 3 g
    Fiber: 13 g
    Protein: 8 g
  • I agree with Jenicra on these wraps...love them. PLUS they have flavored wraps that are smaller, too and I think 60 cals? Check it out.
  • OoOo. Can i get theses at the local grocery store? or ?
  • I find them at Kroger so I would say yes. Oh and i think Superwalmart has them too and usually better priced.
  • are they in the deli, or the mexican food section or where? I need a good high fiber, low cal something for my arsenal of better-for-me-food
  • I got mine at Safeway (Vons for some of you I'm sure) and they were right alongside the other tortillas.
  • thank you!
  • I'm gonna have ta get me some of these. I've forced whole wheat tortillas down my throat for years now and I don't much care for them. Thanks for the tip.

My favorite is this wrap with fat free or low fat swiss and turkey warmed up in the microwave, add lettuce and tomato and spicey mustard. SOOOO good.

I have found these wraps at Kroger, Tom Thumb, and Albertsons! Love that they are low carb!
