Hey all. I am feeling so down this morning. After last week (5 days no workout and a vacation where I ate out the whole weekend), I was gonna kick butt this week, which I did till yesterday. I went to the gym yesterday morning and only stayed 20 minutes due to the loud strong smelling woman next to me (she bathed in perfume right before she came apparantly). I planned on going to the gym after work to make up for it, but I went out to mexican food instead and had 2 margaritas plus cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. I hurt my foot up to my ankle running monday and it is still bothering me pretty bad. I am gonna be fat forever. Boo Hoo!!!
Ok ok ok, that was my pity party and I am trying to get over it. I know I just need to have a better week next week and salvage this week as best I can. Thanks for listening, hahaha. Have a good Saturday everyone!!! |
awwwwwwwww i am back............ i have a question.... istarted smoking to gut the craves of eating... i know this is terribly bad.... but it helps
my question is is that i just got on BC is it bad to smoke while on it? my boobs are shrinking... this must be because i am lossing weight but i dont step on the scale cause it depresses me when the numbers are the same.... but i am slowly getting back on the ball... |
Smoking while taking the pill increases your chances of getting tumors. Along with increasing your chances of heart disease, lung cancer and emphasema. I quit over a year ago, and it's not worth all the risks just to cut craving! Come on, you're an intellegent woman. You want to live to enjoy being skinny don't you???

yeah.. i read all the side effects yesterday on the internet...but when i am around my friends they smoke ALOT of pot...they want me to do it but instead ill smoke a cig cause i feel that its better than pot and not so illegal

i already know i won't get any gym time tonight, but monday is a whole other story. I'm going to try and hit it every DAY for at least 2 hours from now on.

Every day...2 hours!!! Dang girl, I wish I had that kind of stamina! If I did that you gals would have to come visit me in the hospital, lol. Just a thought, but don't you think that's overdoing it just a bit? Keep in mind that this is coming from a chronic non-exerciser though :D

I wish I could do that...but alas, single motherhood does have its ups and downs. In this case the down side has to do with a serious lack of "Amanda time". I had 2 hours to myself today and I wanted to go to the gym, but unfortunately I had housework, homework, etc. Sometimes I feel like a moomy machine. I used to matter in the grand scheme of things, but now I follow the J.O.Y. principle (Jesus first, Others second, Yourself third). Sometimes I miss being a little bit selfish :D

Sugarbutt, no offence meant by this at all...do you really still have friends who try and pressure you into doing drugs? Sounds like you need new friends. There's no lesser of two evils in that case really!!!

amanda - I know what you mean about the mommy machine, but take some you time. You deserve it and it's soooo worth it. You'll be able to take care of others much better and be less stressed if you do, at least once in a while. My daughter's knows there is 2 times she cannot disturb me each day, the first is when I'm working out, unless we're walking together and the 2nd is when I'm in the shower. I totally zone out in the shower, I crank my fav cd and sing really loud.
