Default ****spooky October Challenge****

Ok, I know we are talking about new challenges this month, Im all for all of them! Im gonna start this one again.... My excercise goal is......1500 mins.
OCT 1 - 30 min walk
OCT 2 - 30 min walk
OCT 3 - 30 min walk
OCT 4 - 30 min power cleaning

OCT 5 -

120/1500

OK, great idea! I'll try AGAIN for 1800 minutes AND Start a weight training regimen! I'll track both. We have 12 weeks until Christmas so let's get moving now!!!!

October 6-4 hours of standing and walking around the zoo (NO SITTING time except the 30 seconds in the bathroom *hehe*) Went on a field trip with 20-kindergarteners....I'll count it as 45 minutes walking because we were standing some too

October 8-72 minutes bike (and a pledge to start weights next week!)
October 9-60 minutes WATP aerobics tape
October 10-30 minutes weight training (we also went bowling but it was a LOT of standing around so I'm not going to count it)
October 11-66 minutes bike
October 12-20 minutes weights, 80 minutes bike
October 13-60 minutes bike
October 14-Rest day (baby-sat a 14 month old which was plenty of exercise for me...I think I walked in a circle from my Living room through my kitchen about 50 times!)
October 15-30 minutes bike, 30 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes bike cool down, 15 minutes weights and sit ups
October 16-Rest day
October 17-Sick
October 18-Sick
October 19-60 minutes bike

Total 810/1800

Hey ladies, this is my first time joining a challenge - I've never needed the accountability before, but boy do I ever right now. My exercise challenge is 1500 minutes, which includes cardio 4-5x/week and weights/strength 2-3x/week. My weight challenge is to lose the first 6 lbs. of my 10 lb. Thanksgiving goal.

I'm moving mine up to 2000 minutes this month. I really need to get moving!

1- 300 minutes of power shopping (pushing stroller) and walking around convention center (wearing baby in a sling)
2- 45 minute walk (wearing baby)
3- 30 minute walk (wearing baby)
4- 20 minutes Pilates/yoga
5- 60 minutes playing pool (gotta count for something!)
6- 60 minutes shopping (wearing baby)
7- 60 minutes walking at an open house (wearing baby)
8-120 minutes cleaning
9- 30 minute walk (wearing baby)
10-120 minutes cleaning/packing/moving
11-90 minutes cleaning/packing/moving; 90 minutes shopping (wearing baby)

This is my first challenge. I'm going to try for 1500 minutes of exercise.

10/1-rainy today. couldnt take baby out for our daily walk.
10/2-no sleep at all last night. in no shape to exercise this morning.
10/3-60min walking w/stroller, 60min muscle toning
10/4-30min walking w/stroller
10/5-60min mucsle toning
10/6-60min muscle toning
10/7-nothing
10/8-30min walking w/stroller

I'm in . . . as of right now I'm just going for 1500 minutes, since I didn't make it last time!

Oct 1 - nada (darn this month starting on a Saturday!)
Oct 2 - walked around the mall for about 3 hours, so I will count it as 30 mins
Oct 3 - 32 mins elliptical, 10 mins abs & back, 5 mins stretching
Oct 4 - 90 mins yoga
Oct 5 - 30 mins elliptical, 10 mins abs & back, 5 mins stretching
Oct 6 - nada
Oct 7 - 30 mins stairmaster (I almost died, I tried to do level 4!), 10 mins abs & back, 5 mins stretching
Oct 8 - nothing
Oct 9 - walked for about three hours, but I'll count it as one because it wasn't like hardcore walking
Oct 10 - walked briskly around my apartment for 15 minutes
Oct 11 - 90 mins yoga
Oct 12 - 30 mins stairmaster + 5 min cooldown, 10 mins abs/back, 5 mins stretching
Oct 13 - nothing
Oct 14 - crap, I don't remember if I did anything or not. Chances are there was 30 mins of cardio in there somewhere.
Oct 15 - none
Oct 16 - 35 mins jogging, 20 mins squats/lunges, 10 mins stretching, 20 mins walking
Oct 17 - nada
Oct 18 - 90 mins yoga
Oct 19 - our gym is closed until next week I am really sucking it up this month, this is almost as bad as September was, especially since starting next week I can't go to yoga anymore.

Decided to move my fitness routine under Liz's to get more inspiration from the fitness queen. =]

Hi Group,

This month I am going for 2300 minutes, 500-dancing and 1800 walking. I got off my schedule after my daughter's birthday- 14th-, so hopefully this challenge will get me back up to speed.

Note- I had to change my goal- something more realistic!!!

10/1- 60 min walk
10/2- 35 min walk
10/3- 65 min walk
10/4- rest
10/5- none- pinched nerve in my neck!!!! I am not off to a good start at all!!!
10/6- none- still hurting
10/7- 30 min treadmill
10/8- 40 min walk
total- 230- awful!

10/9- none
10/10- 30 min treadmill
10/11-30 min treadmill, 30 min walk video
10/12- none
10/13- 60 min walk
10/14- 30 min walk
10/15- 120 mins cardio
total- 530

10/16- none- rest day
