Christy - my DH and I started at about the same too - but still, we weren't really IN LOVE then, ya know?

Haha my bf and I started dating when I was 16. 9 months later (I was 17 and he was 18) he went into the military and people told me he should propose before left.. now I'm 20 and he's 21 and people (including my father) ask us if we talk about getting married. We don't. I'm not in a hurry :) Besides at the moment we live too far away from each other, and I'm not planning on moving until I graduate from college.. or until my mom finds full time work again, in which case I would move my credits to the community college down there. (thats actually what I would prefer.. not only because I would get to see him a lot more, but because it would be easier to find a job down there if I graduated in the area).

Haha sorry.

Just got back from my workout, and taking out $90 from the bank ($40 towards my Curves membership, and the rest for my mom) Now I have to go shower, change, and at least get a start on the dishes!

I think my tummy has gotten a bit smaller. This takes away from the frusteration of the scale staying the same.. but only a litle bit :).

Fae - He's sounding TOTALLY shady.
hehe that is a cute story!! I really don't want to wait that long to find my soul mate, but I guess it is better late than never.

Paperclippy- I thought of that but then... how awful would it be to go from washington state to south carolina to be broken up with?? He told my friend they are having problems, but I think it would just be [mean] wishful thinking on my part.

jenicra- That's so sweet! Why is it that at 14 guys want to have committed relationships, but by the time they are in their 20s they dont anymore? I think a lot of like.."teen" movies and tv shows have people vowing true, deep love to one another really really early.

fuller- hehe I'm trying! I think I enjoy my singleness more when theres like.. three guys to date at the same time instead of no guys to date. Or when my friends are all single. I think my boyfriend panic is a phase, I'm hoping.
Your husband cooks?? For large groups? hehe thats a find!

I'm 29 and still not ready for kids! lol Who knows if I ever will be. I've never had that urge to have one. My best friend has 2 boys and I love them to death........but even after holding her first-born an hour after he was born, still didn't give me that feeling of wanting one. Maybe I never will.......and that's fine. I've also not met "the one" either. Maybe it will change when I meet him. :)

I had a dream last night about an ex from high school. We were in a wedding together is all I really remember. When I got to work this morning, I picked up the newspaper and there's a picture of his band........they are playing in town tomorrow night! It was sooo crazy! I really want to go but can't find anyone to go with me. :(

I'm putting off getting on the treadmill right now. I've been at work since 7:00AM and I'm just beat. But I guess I better get to it.............have a good Friday night everyone!

Oh yeah, I definitely know!! I don't guess we were actually "in love" until about 3 yrs into the relationship. And we went through a TON of sh*t to get there!! LOL

That's pretty funny Christy! My bf and I met when I had just turned 18 (my first year of college). Depending on what you count as a "boyfriend," you might say he was my first boyfriend (he was definitely my first kiss, etc etc ;) ), or else my second. Sometimes I wish I could have had some more time to be single and date around, but I count myself lucky that I didn't have to go through too many heartbreaks before finding someone like him! Nobody else would put up with my crap as much as he does!
