My Plateau ended!
 

I posted this in a support forum but I never mentioned it here. I weighed myself on Wednesday and after 2 1/2 weeks, my plateau is over! I was at 218 on Wednesday - down 4 pounds from where I was stuck at 222. I was and am very excited to finally see a change, and I'm really proud of myself for not giving up this time. :)

Hopefully that's the last plateau I'll see for a very long time.

Yeah! Way to stick in there!

Great job! Plateaus SUCK! I totally understand...it really tests your resolve to lose weight.

Thanks everyone. I was still 218 when I weighed myself today but I'll take it. As long as I NEVER see 222 again, I'm happy. My next little goal is to never see 218 again ;).

spillthebeans, I fiddled with my calories a little bit (increased and decreased) but I don't think that really had any effect. I think it was just patience. It lasted 2 weeks and it was awful to see that same number every day. All I can say is just stick to healthy eating, keep exercising, and drink lots of water. The scale WILL move eventually. It has to, if you continue doing the right things. And I predict that it'll be a dramatic move, just like it was for me.
