yuck

After almost a week of NOT over eating, I over ate a little tonight (instead of one serving of our dinner, I had 1.5 and with the side dish, I had 2 servings instead of one) and I feel like crap. Its amazing how I felt like this most of the time, and actually would have ate more, so I would have been way more full. So, even though I was complaining before about being hungry, I'd rather have that feeling over being so full that I feel gross.

So yeah, :dizzy: no real point to this post, other than I definitely feel better when I don't over eat :)

I hate that feeling. On the other hand, when you go out to a restaurant and eat a normal sized serving you feel so good afterwards. Mmm and leftovers reheat really well anyway!

I think some of my biggest motivation is avoiding that I-ate-too-much feeling. Eating enough of the right foods and working out regularly makes me feel so good compared to the lazy, over stuffed feeling. It is weird to me that I spent so much of my life feeling awful because I was so full.

I think restaurants serve more than 1 portion so I am always proud to bring home leftovers.

And I also got out of the mentality of FORCING myself to clean my plate, you know? I felt guilty the first few times when there isn't enough to bring home but you were taught to eat everything so you get torn...

But I got over that quickly! ;)
