Trick scale?

How did i manage to weigh 7lbs more yesterday than i did this morning. Obviously i am pleased but is it just a hoax? Will i tomorrow be 7lbs more than yesterday which would make me 14lbs more than today? Whatever the case may be, a loss is a loss is a loss right? :?:

Insekur - If you've had one on-plan day after a series of really bad days, you might lose 7 lbs. in one day - it isn't 7 lbs. of fat, it's 7 lbs. of water, undigested food, and maybe just a tad of fat. As far as your ticker, you have to go to the User CP and put the link in your sig - make sure you are using the correct format for these boards.

I don't think it's physically possible to gain or lose 7lbs in one day since it takes an excess of 3500 calories to gain a pound so it is most likely water weight. Or your scale might need to be calibrated or if it's really old, splurge on a new one. Mine displays to the .5lb and has body fat displays (though I don't really trust them).

when I was following atkins the scale showed a 20lb lost on the third day it was water weight my close didnt fit any differently, that is why I no longer follow the scales because its all about dropping sizes and inches. That is the only tru way to know you are losing what you want and not just water weight
