I was wondering that too, Lynnie. She used to be a regular. I miss her! :(

Lynnie--that's a great question! Where IS Mocha? I miss her! Now that I think about it, she hasn't been around in weeks! I hope things are OK.

I had a good day--with some unexpected things come up, but I'm feeling alright about it. DH was able to come home from work early (a real rarity), so we seized the time, and I skipped my workout & we went out to Red Lobster on a leftover Cmas giftcard! It was lots of fun--a heavy, fried-type meal, but I will eat lighter tomorrow to compensate for it. Balance, balance! I decided the time spent w/ my DH was more important than my workout today, especially because he's working so much now these days. Tomorrow I will hit the treadmill right after work!
Hope everyone's looking forward to a great weekend!

Great way to realize balance, Jen. That's really the key, isn't it?

Jdogg: In response to your previous comment, I don't think 150 is to high, I actually think it may be a little low...but maybe that is just because I've been so far away from that number for soo long. I used to be 140 in highschool...but that was highschool, my boobs have grown since then, thanks to birth control.... But anyways, I think 150 is a good goal. We can do it!!!!!! We aren't that far away from it :)

There are quite a few people missing...I've noticed to, I miss Bella Sasha??? Questions of the day....maybe someone can take on that new role?

Everyone: Have A Great Weekend!!!!!

lynnie - Nope. I PM-ed her... but no reply. I've been on 3fc for the past couple years.. and people come and go. Its very sad when people who are so active just vanish one day. But Mocha has been very successful... so I can understand taking a break.

jdogg and spillthebeans...

I think it's really hard to settle on a final goal weight until you physically get to see what your body looks like at different weights. My original goal weight was 145 pounds, and when I got close to that weight I realized that I was much smaller-boned than I had ever been willing to admit.

I just saw a bunch of pictures from my family trip to Florida over the holidays, and seeing how I looked in a bikini next to my size 0 sister made me realize that I'm in pretty good shape. I'm reconsidering the 125 pound goal because I would be happy staying where I am and working on changing my body composition (lose a little fat and build a little muscle).

I think taking pictures is a nice way to look at yourself and your progress more objectively. I see myself in the mirror every day, but it wasn't until I saw myself in pictures that I realized how much losing the last 10 pounds has changed my face and my body. When I got home with the pictures, I told my boyfriend he was REALLY lucky to have such a hot girlfriend. He tells me that all the time but he was so thrilled that I was finally able to see it.

For those tall ones out there - the woman I nanny for is 5'11" and she weighs 160 lbs. even. To me, she's a very healthy, normal weight. Very active and fit. I think 150-160 might be about right if that's what you're looking for.
