Weekly Weigh-In 11/9 - 11/15

Its one more week to a better you!!! Come on ladies lets make November be a great month. Go ahead and post your weights for the week. :cb:

Well, no loss for me this week... but, no gain either. I feel fortunate to not have gained any since seriously starting this latest weight-loss effort. I am a little disappointed with not losing any this week, though.

10/20: 189.5

Eeek! I gained half a kilo! That sucks. How can it be anyway? I was so good last week. This week is going to be serious. I am going to show the scale who's boss in our house! I mean, second boss after the man of the house. Anyway, that stupid scale is not the boss of me! Just wait until next week... I will have my revenge.

lmaxin 11-13-2003 09:35 AM

I ended up losing 1/2 pound which leaves me at an even 166.

Christine, your posts REALLY crack me up. It is good to see that you have such a positive attitude about showing that stinking scale who's boss and that you are not letting that half kilo slow you down! You go girl!

Jdogg... I agree with you. No loss at all is better than gain!!

Hang in there, ladies! Keep up all of the healthy eating and exercise!

jdoggmartin 11-13-2003 09:56 AM

Way to go, Leslie!!! Yay!! :cb:

I love your attitude, Christine!!

Keep up the good work, and let's report some more losses!

I've decided not to weigh until the end of the month and/or Dec 1. I've become too scale obsessed. I think it will give me time to concentrate on inches and how I feel.

Although I already blew it today [had a large, soft chocolate chip cookie and coffee for breakfast] .

I am in a funk and need to find a way to get out. I figure, if I can lose 5 lbs. by next weigh in, I'd be in virgin pound territory and on my way!

tonic 11-13-2003 11:08 AM

You did not blow it jenne! You still have all of today to get your water in and exercise. Don't be so hard on yourself. You are allowed slipups, and even so.. one cookie won't kill you. Its when you keep eating them thats the problem.

Just remember.. one slipup isn't going to ruin the whole day.. just do what you can!

jenne1017 11-13-2003 12:44 PM

Thanks Tonic!

For lunch, I'm going to salad it I think. Try to balance the cals and fat that way.

Since, there's no gym for me yet again today :(

Welcome!!! I hope you enjoy this board as much as I do! It has been the real key to my weight loss success so far.

jenne1017 11-14-2003 12:17 PM

WELCOME!!!

I'm stil at 165. I haven't lost any, but haven't gained either. I pulled my back at the beginning of this week, so I haven't been able to exercise...I'll start on the track again next week. Excersizing is key for weight loss for me.

Finally

Ok after a lonnnng hiatus (sp?) I am back in the game! Finally! Almost forgot what it was like to be healthy.;) So after almost 2 weeks of nothing.......I'm at 193. I can handle that!

Jen24 11-14-2003 05:21 PM

YAY Jamie!
180's here you come!!!
Isn't it just almost a "relief" when the scale starts to go down again?

Jen24 11-15-2003 08:28 AM

50 pounds gone!!!

Today's weigh in results:

I lost 3 lbs., for a new weight of 187! I was sick 2 days this past week, which may have contributed to that large of a loss, but I'll take it! ;) I realize that next week, I may lose just a little bit.

Anyway, this puts me at the 50-lbs. lost mark!!! What a milestone!

I made my husband weigh this morning too--it's now official, I weight less than him (but only but a pound!).....makes one start to feel a bit more feminine!

Jen
