8 workouts down, 82 to go! I pushed myself a little bit more and did some burpees that I would usually avoid and do the modifier moves for. So I'm proud of that! I felt pooped by the end though during the "burnout" phase (he combines all the exercise together without a break), I definitely found myself feeling sluggish but just tried my best.
Unfortunately I took my 2 day break too early in the week so I'll have to shift my break days around for another week until I'm back on schedule. I do like having 2 days off over the weekend! But if I get lazy during the week then I'm just playing catch up like this week.

Today I weighed at 171.6 lbs, a 0.8 lb drop from yesterday!! Definitely wasn't expecting that. Lowered my average to 172.4 lbs.

However tonight is Cinco de Mayo and I'm getting together with some friends to drink/eat. I'm going to do my best to not mindlessly snack, but we'll see how that goes. Whenever I'm with friends I feel happy and snacky!!
Sunday I'm having a board game day with friends and that usually brings the snacker in me out too. So a few challenging days ahead food wise but hopefully my workouts will help me maintain.

--------------

Veron - Welcome welcome! I know exactly what you mean about wanting to look hot in a dress, I always joke with my BF saying when we get married I'm gonna shed this weight like a mother effer! However until that day I'll work to look hot at other peoples weddings ;). Congratulations on having a baby!

Atari - Oooh trust me, I'm out of shape too! I do my best during them but they are tough. I've never been able to keep up with them 100%, but even so I get an awesome workout in. Do you have family in Japan still that you visit? I miss Japanese food a lot! I could eat sushi every day. Do you think your co-workers sabotage on purpose or is it just a office culture sort of thing? It is nice having free food around the place but it is so hard to say no!! I used to work in an office and just knowing there were chocolates in the other room was enough to drive me crazy.

Scots - I think if you replace your starchy carbs with vegetable carbs you'll find it easier. I've never completely cut them out before so I can't give you better advice I'm afraid, I'd be too scared of going on a carb bender if I tried!!

Hi everyone, hope it's ok if I join in! I'm an old member returned.. and I have gained a whopping 102lbs in the 3 years that I've been gone :( I've been blaming my partner for making me happy and comfortable.. but I know it's my own fault! Hoping to start shifting the weight back off again along with all of you, and thank you for making this! I'll do my best to remember to weigh in, some accountability should do me good :D

Phew! Now that the worst TOM I've had in over a year is done I'm back with you all. It's been a hellish week. I overate, had icecream, pie, and generally didn't treat myself right. It's been rough at home stress wise and I didn't do well with the extra hormones that's for sure!

I weighed in at 195.4 this morning so hopefully I didn't completely mess myself up. I have to make the rest of this month count!

Aseret123: welcome back! I know how hard it is to regain and bounce back. It's awesome that you're here! I'm still bouncing back and forth sometimes.

Scotsgal - it's probably best you do low-carbs instead of no-carbs. Me personally, it's hard to do a no-carb diet. It makes me sluggish, scatter-brained, etc...lol Maybe you can stay around 20 to 50 grams a day. I think you should keep your scramble egg concoction as is. If it was yummy and filling, why change it. It works for you! :-) Also, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes have a low carb count (I mean you're not gonna eat a big tub of the two at one sitting) so I say go ahead and enjoy them!

I try to get at least 50 grams a day but if I'm still losing weight, I may even bump it up. But I would never go over 100 carbs a day. I'm doing the keto plan but I just started so I really don't know what works for me just yet. I'm hoping to see how it works for this week coming up.

I did start eating lower carbs today and I must say, it's not so bad. I had a sausage, red pepper and cheese bake for breakfast this morning (hate eggs) and I'm just now having lunch which was romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and Parmesan dressing. For dinner, I'm going to have an eggplant, hamburger cheese bake and of course my Parmesan salad w/dressing.

What worries me, is that I do love me some sweets and I made a low-carb dessert but, eh, just don't feel it. So, I may take on making fat bombs real soon! lol

Hey everyone!

Had a bit of a break from T25, due to laziness unfortunately, but I know myself well enough to know that these hiccups are to be expected! I definitely have to workout in the morning, I have a very set routine and if I get out of it then I feel like I'm off for the rest of the day playing catch up which stresses me out. I dunno, I've just learned to accept it now and make sure I work out in the morning before I do anything else! But 9 workouts done 81 to go. :)

My weight fluttered back up to the 173's as a result of laziness/overeating. My weigh in last week averaged at 172.4 lbs so I've put back on a pound this week so far. I think I'm going to try and maintain 173/172 for the next week or so because my parents are visiting tomorrow for just over a week, which is really surreal actually! I never thought they'd visit me so it was quite a surprise when they ended up booking the flights in December. They're currently swanning around New York but they'll be in the deep south from tomorrow. I've got a nice itinerary planned for them, not as action packed as when my friends came to visit but still we'll be doing a lot of activities. Mainly wandering, eating and hiking!

I'm planning to do a T25 on all the days except the ones where we're hiking, since I think that'd be over kill for my legs! So technically I'll be working out every day, but I love hiking so much that it won't feel like a workout. I am going to be indulging on the delicious food Atlanta has to offer while they're here though. I've warned them that money is a bit of a problem for us right now which they completely understand, so I've planned to eat in a lot of the nights and if they want to eat out they can do.

Anywho, I'm just ranting now! I may not be posting in as often while my parents are in town but we'll see! They're quite relaxed travelers and since they're staying at an Airbnb I won't feel so rushed in the mornings. They'll have to wait for me, mwahaha.

Hey all! I haven't joined a challenge in several years, so I'm happy to be here! I track my weight in my fitbit app daily, so I had something to pop in to the spreadsheet to catch up. Thanks for doing this Rie! Glad to be a part of one of your challenges again ;)

I decided to weigh in this morning after a weekend of sodium rich food. I mean, no sweets...but sodium rich and water retention YIKES! Yesterday I had a few cookies my grandma made, but eh, I decided to remain accountable and use today's weigh in, which was 166.6. Slight gain from last week, but by decimals? No big deal! Beginning of the week was showing me 168s again, so I knew...okay, less salt. Haha! Would love to do personals, but it's report card season and HOLY HELP ME is it flying in fast!

I'm in

I just plugged in my last weight (for last week) & my goal weight. I didn't weigh myself today. Already ate. Can I weigh myself tomorrow and plug that into the spreadsheet then? I usually weigh myself on Mondays. Thanks so much. This is a great idea and exactly what I need....support and motivation!

So I went on vacation and lost my groove a bit. Between stress and bad food I did not succeed. I've gained some weight so far, but I've also made some changes to help myself out.

I just got my iud taken out today because I had period symptoms more than half the month and it was causing some major issues, as well as over eating! I'm switching to seasonique and I hope that will make things better for me.

Scotsgal 05-18-2017 06:37 AM

Soo Im back from Germany and stood on the scales yesterday morning to see the damage..... 10 whole lbs! I .went up to 280 (lowest is 269.7)

But I know that the food was rich and salty and I drank a lot of alcohol, I also had swollen knees and feet from sitting on the bus for so long. This morning I was already down to 278.3 so it will come off quite quickly I'd like to think. I have planned the next few days of No (starchy Carbs), I have taken into consideration that I have no idea what to eat for carb free , so I had this morning my eggs, with mushrooms and cherry toms and spinach. I also had a banana for snack. Not sure what lunch will be, but it will be chicken based, just need to see what I have thats low carb. I bought Pork chops for diner tonight, with some veggies. Would love to see the 269 again by next week weigh in. Will be back to the gym as well on Monday after having my cortisone done a few weeks back. Going to bring in a little more cardio.

Claygirl1518 05-20-2017 09:22 AM

I'm still dealing with uterus misery which is super fun. My insurance company is mailing my new BC so it won't be here for about 4 more days! In the meantime I now have a super heavy period (my third bout of cramps and bleeding for this month). Needless to say I'm over it. My weight has sky rocketed over the past few days and I'm up to 200.5 😓. Hopefully it's just a crazy adjustment period. I had my iud in for a year and a half so I imagine it will take a while for things to calm down. The bloating is awful though!

Scots: I'm sure most of that weight will drop right off. I hope your trip to Germany was great!

Scotsgal 05-21-2017 02:59 PM

I hope things feel better soon Clay, sucks when things are out of whack!

I dropped down 6.6lbs, but last night I have take out and went up a little again, had a family event today and ate a few things I shouldnt of. Tomorrow will be back at the gym and back to low carb food. Hope to see the weight go back down once I workout and have less carbs. Need to track tomorrow though and make sure I am still having the right amount of calories though.
