what is eveyone's favorite movie and WHY??? (two questions...:dizzy: )

I am a huge movie nut...so I am going to need time to answer this.... :corn:

Ooooh! Tough question! I love so many! I love comedies... Ace Ventura is probably my favorite because I love Jim Carrey, and I love animals! Although many others are a close second...

My favorite movie is "What lies Beneath." I am an avid fan of ghost/paranormal type movies.. this one takes the cake :)

This is a tough one. I have a favorite from different styles of movies and different eras...

All time favorite, if I have to pick one, Wizard of Oz...

Comedy/Classic- Some Like It Hot (Love Marilyn Monroe)
Musical- Sound of Music
Cartoon- Monsters Inc.
Action/Classic- The Great Escape (Steve McQueen...he's so dreamy!!)

I could go on and on!! If it has Marilyn or Steve I love it!!

I have two faves....1. The Shawshank Redemption- acting and story is phenomenol and 2. American Beauty- it pokes intelligent humor at middle class dysfunctional America and Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning are fab!!!!!

The one movie that I watch every single time it comes on is Lord of the Rings. I'm just amazed how beautifully the books have come to life! Got The Two Towers for my bday yesterday and cannot wait to watch it again.

Of all time, my favorite movie is The Greatest Show on Earth with Charleton Heston-the circus movie. I don't know why, I just love it!!

Lately, Seabiscuit is absolutely fabulous!!!!! A must see!

I have many favorite movies, and I can't narrow it down to less than 2, so here goes.

The Thorn Birds - 8 Hour Mini-Series. I love this movie because it is so brilliant and moving. I never get sick of it and watch it at least once a year!
