Talking This ROCKS!

I weighed in this morning (Sept. 6th), just like I do every Saturday morning, to find out that I lost FOUR pounds! Wow! I have no idea how that happened--I mean, I DO work hard at it, but I definitely eat enough and work out moderately. But, I'll take it! I'm really excited about this--the weight has just been coming off consistently, and I'm so thankful!

Happy weekend, everyone!

Thanks for the kind words, Jamie! It DID feel great, and I'm so excited to be in Onederland soon. Just not having the "2" in front of my weight will be a big emotional boost!
Hope you're having a great weekend--

Don't you just LOVE those surprising big losses!?!?! They're so much fun. I am proud of each & every one of us, for committing to becoming healthier. We know it's a journey--for life!

Keep your chin up, Jamie! It may have been a rough week, but YOU control what you do/how you react from here on out! You can do this. If tomorrow's weigh-in isn't great, just know that next week's will be!

Talking

Hey thanks Jen for the words of encouragement. I have never been a real big scale watcher and now it seems like the numbers are so important to me. Even though I have had a non scale success, getting into the 100's is so important to me right now it's insane. Why is the mental stuff so challenging? The thing is I worked out really hard this week and I feel like I am setting myself up because I ate out a few times this last week. But honestly I don't know if I have gained or not and I am not going to check it out until tomorrow, I will not let the scale control my emotions x100! Hopefully, I am just being hard on myself and that's all....we'll see soon enough.

sunseeker - you are SO CLOSE to breaking into the 100's!!!! I know exactly what you mean by mental barriers... my *magic number* will be 169. Any time I am over 170 I just feel totally bummed.

Can't wait to get to 150!!! Then I will finally have a "normal" BMI!!!!

Happy Friday, and hope you hit ONEderland soon!!!

Do the tummy dance Tummy! You are doing great!

August 8th - 166

August 15th - 168 I know its because of the really salty food I ate last night but gosh not a great start to my weekend.

August 22nd - Didn't weigh this week

August 29th -165.2

September 5th - 166.0

September 12th - 165.4 I swear I would do so good at maintaining. I've been around the same weight for so long. I need to get past 165!!!

September 19th -

September 26th -

Hey. I hope I can join in on the Friday weigh day. This will be good for me in terms of accountability. The frustrating thing is I've been stuck at 190 FOREVER! Hopefully, I'll be able to post a loss soon! You ladies are all doing so well! Keep it up!

Sept. 12: 190

ohhhh, thank goodness! I am down 2lbs. from last week, although where it came from not quite sure. I am going to take measurements asap. This week will be easier I'm thinking, since my brother is finally completely moved out, ahhhhh. I will start lifting again this week, having trouble with that portion. I don't mind going and doing 45 min. of cardio, but then to stay and lift after I'm there for another hour. Might as well bring my sleeping bag and pillow! Anyways thank you all for the positive words and great job everyone!
