nonameslob best of luck with that! That altitude is a killer.

Finished the month with a loss and trying to keep that up by joining this challenge.

Full disclosure: I already wear a bikini just in the dead of night at the 24 hour fitness when no one else is there... Hoping I look better in it by the end of this challenge.

Today is day 5 of working out in a row, been a long time since I've done that. Eating has progressively been getting better, I just have to stay on top of my portions.

I'm super motivated to get some of this weight off and start moving forward positively. Good luck everyone on your goals this week!

I'm weighing-in tomorrow to determine my starting weight for this challenge. However, I've been sick with the flu and not eating very much. But I somehow started having the biggest cravings for toast today! So hopefully this is the sign that my body is fighting to get 100% healthy.

With this challenge I would like to get back into the 130s and say bye-bye to the 140s for good.

Good luck everyone!!

Postweddingsmalsize - congrats on your weight loss this month - you must be really pleased Maybe by the end of this challenge you won't just wear your bikini in the dead of night.

skittlesfirehawk - I like the idea of treating yourself to a bikini. I might do the same thing, although it will be more likely at the end of the challenge next year than any time soon!

Hoopty - Good luck with your goals. I'm sure you'll meet some of your sigs mini goals during the challenge.

Lylitu - Wow! Thats very impressive. I'm just focusing on food at the moment. I really should start exercising but *groans*

I've just weighed in with a 3lb loss so I'm pretty escited. I had lost a bit more on friday but I was on a course about being involved with activist work and staying at a place with great food. I definitely ate less than I normally would but I still gave in and had desserts. Before, I would have just allowed myself an unlimited supply of the cakes and puddings and goodies on offer but I managed to hold back a bit - now I just need to get to a point where I can say no thanks without dwelling on it for ages.

Anyway, onwards and downwards to success. Good luck everyone

My plan is to stick to around 1200-1300 net calories, exercise 3+/week doing strength training and cardio. Once school is out I'll be able to get in lots of exercise! Only 3 more weeks

Angelicus-Great job on the loss and staying on plan

Lylitu-Great work with the exercise!

Hoopty-Hope you're feeling better! We'll both get into the 130's and say goodbye to all these 140's soon!

Rie-Yay! So excited for this challenge

Skittlesfirehawk-I like the idea of buying a new suit as a reward! I might do that too

Mine is to stop sabotaging myself. Every time I lose a few lbs I get excited and decide to celebrate with junk food. Big no-no..

Dottington - Thanks Do you have a specific training plan that you follow or do you mix it up a bit?

MrsDeenz - Oh God! I am exactly the same. I make really good food choices a lot of the time and then will nibble like there is no tomorrow or do silly things like scrape the bowl when my mums made a cake. We shall have to be partners in facing down the big bad self sabotage wolf!

Dottington:

Good plan! That's my plan, too. I don't go on vacation for about 6 weeks, but when I do I'm planning on going hardcore exercising by then.

MrsDeenz:
ugh, me too. I think that's why I've stalled here. I am eating a lot more junk food that I used to. No bueno. I'm going to really try to eat healthier snacks.

MrsDeenz-I really hope you're able to tackle the self sabotaging! I do the same kind of sabotage whenever I plateau or stall.

Angelicus-I'm just doing basic strength training type exercises 2x per week and then I go hiking at least once a week.

kisskiss-breaks are the best for exercising aren't they? You really like hiking too, right? Do you have any good hikes planned?

skittlesfirehawk-keep working hard and they will! But then it does get annoying having to buy new clothes as you loose

sherry-Welcome!
