hi id love to join if its not to late.Im back i was down to 154 in novmeber and stopped doing everything i was doing. Im now at 171 andi need to get back on track badly.

Hi Skittles. Its not too late, its still March.

As to the BMI thing, I've gotten into arguments with doctors over it. Like I have had ones that treat it as the ONLY way. And its never seemed healthy to me. My fiance is over six feet and I mean, its not like he doesn't have any fat, but he's healthy and trim and muscled. But according to the BMI, he's overweight. O_o

Christa, that really is a shame that they treat it that way. If your cholesterol, BP and all those other indicators say you're healthy, why should your BMI matter?

My issues with doctors and weight is that none of my primary care physicians have EVER even mentioned my weight! I always have wished that they would at least point out that I have a weight issue and encourage me to lose weight. It's an embarrassing thing to bring up myself. But they ignore it. I don't quite understand why. I wonder, they had mentioned it when I was in high school, if maybe I would have been put on a healthier path in life.

Last day of March! Should I make a new thread for April?

I had an NSV this weekend. I had a wedding to go to and I was really worried about what to wear and how I would look. I wore a very fitted dress I hadn't worn in a couple years and oh my goodness I got so many compliments and a lot of people noticed I had lost weight! I felt amazing and even liked how I looked in pictures!
