I have been wanting to start c25k. I had planned on starting last week but then I got a cold so tomorrow sounds like a good time to start. Are you thinking of running Monday, Wednesday and Fridays?

If you want we can continue to come back to this thread and discuss how it is going for us. I might be able to make it past week 2/3 with some support because I have tried it twice before but never made it very far.

I did day 1 today. I had to force myself off the couch but I felt really good doing it. I will do day 2 on Wednesday. Knowing I said I would come back and update on this thread is what made me get off the couch actually

I'm going to jump in and start on week two, week one is too weak for me, but week 3 might be a bit much!

I just finished week 1 and it was good. Maybe a little too easy like amy said but at least it has started me into a routine.

I am getting my self ready to start the c25k soon. I am walking 1.5 miles in 30 minutes on the treadmill 5 -6 times a week. I want to do the run or dye 5k in mid December. Everyone says the run or dye is a good one to start with because it is more about fun. I just hope to finish in under an hour.

How should my walking be before I start the c25k with running?

Susan - I walk at least an hour per day but it is slow with my dog. I would try week one and see what you think. It is mostly walking with short jogs. If you find a week difficult you can also repeat weeks if you need ro.

Week 2 day 2 I find myself wanting to run for longer which is a good sign
