Generally I'm a Treater, then a Pit Stop Dweller, then a Drastic Regainer.

I'm trying to break that pattern this time by giving myself a small treat once a month, then going right back on plan.

I also do some form of exercise every day. Wouldn't consider myself a Tank, but hopefully I'm getting there.

Treater and dieter for sure. I need to be told what to eat and I need someone to keep me on track, usually. I'm a slave to my college and don't necessarily always make the right choices because of time constraints and exercising also suffers greatly because of it. At least I'm not gaining

So interesting to see the results! Seems like The Number Slave and The Treater are the most common in people losing weight.

Number Slave describes me perfectly. I weigh or measure everything I eat, and all the calories I burn, and weigh myself every morning without fail.

I do exercise a fair amount, but to be fair, not enough to call myself a tank!

I feel like I'm a tank and a treater. I'll exercise a lot for a period of time, but then my eating gets off track. And we all know that no matter how much you exercise, if your diet is bad, then all your hard work with exercising won't even show..

I am a tank who regroups into a pit stop dweller and then usually back to tank mode. I can do rotations of that for a while (a year once before; but currently 18 months.) The problem is that after a few rounds of this I typically finish it off as a drastic regainer.

I'm a scale queen, its so pathetic, even if i know I'm losing inches if i don't see it on the scale i feel like it doesn't exist. oh well the numbers will get there eventually lol.

Tank for sure im slways in the gym lifting and i feel bad when i have to take a rest day.. But my diet is irratic so while i am building muscle its hidden under my lard

Defo a combination of the number slave and the treater.

I weigh myself alot and tend to treat myself on a job well done.

Wow, it's crazy how these resonate! At the moment I am living my life in the pit stop! The other ones I identify with are definitely Treater and Number Slave. Number Slave is for when I'm super intensely into what I "should" be doing - and then when I do well for a while I end up getting to Treater phase...and back into Number Slave...but I do let things derail me and use them as an excuse! I guess I should just be grateful that I generally maintain, within 5 pounds or so, in these periods.

I'm a combo. Start off as a number slave, treat myself when the numbers are good, then get frustrated with no progress and maintain for awhile lol. Number slave/treater/pit stop dweller

I am definetly a combination of four of these.

The Number Slave- When I am on plan this is who I am.

The Treater- when I lose and start to feel more confident I start becoming a weekend treater.


The Pit Stop Dweller- After being the treater for a while sometimes I bounce back to the "Number slave" with 1 or a few weeks or like this last time 1 1/2 years.


The Drastic Regainer- then after being a treater and Pit stop dweller. I get a case of the "whatevers" and balloon back up. for ex: this last time started at 255 then got down to 201 in about 8 months. then maintained with treating and counting for about a year. and the last 6 months i balooned back up to 240.


You know this was pretty therapeutic to analyze my habits! thanks riestrella!

I'd say I'm a mix between the number slave, the tank, and the pit stop dweller. When I'm really on top of things I count calories on my app like it's my job and I refuse to skip workouts (unless I have a good excuse not to). Just put myself in the pit stop dweller group due to my last year, though. For me, it's all about my environment. While my roommates 2 years ago were super supportive and loved living healthy lifestyles, my roommates from the last school year were very lax.

I'm totally The Treater. It's actually very easy for me to lose weight... but when I see the numbers go down on the scale, I get a false sense of security and think it's okay to have an extra serving, it'll come off again in no time. I seem to self-sabotage myself.
