Hey everybody! I'm new here but just wanted to share my excitement that I bought and fit into ( fit into well, not just stuffed myself into) a pair of size 8 skinny jeans from Old Navy ! Hooray for vanity sizing!! I doubt I could wear an 8 anywhere else, but I'm loving the feeling nonetheless!!

Have ya'll experienced any non-scale victories lately??

Thursday one of my students parents asked me if I'd lost more weight and then whispered that I looked "very thin!" haha Also that evening my bf commented that I had such a "skinny waist" and today he said my stomach was so flat. Yeah those pretty much made my week haha

Old navy skinny jeans (specifically the dk blue rockstar pants) are the most comfortable pants ever. Congrats on the size 8!

Since losing weight I've only gone shopping at Old Navy and Target. I have no idea which other stores may fit me or what sized I'd even be. Anyways, I went to a huge outlet mall yesterday with the purpose of finding a green dress for a party. Went into Loft and grabbed an XL out of habit and it was too big. The size large fit PERFECTLY without any weird backfat bulging from my bra either. It was the best feeling and I rocked that dress last night.

My NSV: Earlier this summer I had a pair of jean shorts that would ride up in a bunch when I sat down. When I stood up, I had to spend a good 5 seconds pulling the legs down again.

I just wore them yesterday, sat down, got up, and no riding up at all! they were also a teensy bit smaller in the waist!

Went to the gym two days in a row! I've been out of the habit for far too long.

I go to the orthodontist about every 6-8 weeks. And I've always gone to Zaxby's or Mellow Mushroom after for an early dinner. After today's appointment, I went to the gym instead.

Don't you love when that happens! After not seeing him for a few weeks, and a decent amount of work on my part, I decided to dress up for my boy. I kept catching him staring at me (we were in public, so manners and all of that ) But it was such a confidence booster!
