The weight tends to fall off fast at the beginning of your weight loss journey, just like in The Biggest Loser they always see incredible numbers in the first week. Especially if you've dramatically cut out junk food and soda. But as you get closer to your goal, you will slow down. You need to keep the body guessing - changing up your workout routine is a good way to do this. But also - life happens. Things will happen in your life that will stall you or could even send you in the opposite direction.
I probably could be at my goal weight by now but I moved to a different country and it really stalled my progress. 7 months later and I'm still around the same weight as before. So the important thing is to just stay patient and work to improve yourself today or the next week. You might end up getting impatient if you try and think "by March 2014 I'll be at goal weight" and it puts a lot of pressure to think of a time. With the right attitude and hard work you'll reach your goal - the "when" really isn't too important :). |
