My first NSV!!!
 

Afternoon all!

I'm so excited, today I reached my first non scale victory :carrot:

I was able to wear a top that I've not been able to fit in for well over a year :)
I tried attaching 2 photos but not sure if it will work or not :dizzy:

I'm curious, what was your first NSV?

My first(from three years ago) was finally being able to fit into American Eagle jeans. At the time, that was a big deal since I was 19 and AE clothes was all anyone wore.

Somehow I've managed to still fit into them, though they are quite tight. And I'm still proud of it!

Yay for shallow reinforcement! Lol

hmmm i guess the one that stands out in my mind, was when i got down to about 170 i lost 2 pant sizes but had no idea. i had a pair of sz 36 (sz17) silver jeans that i loved and i noticed they were getting quite baggy so i went shopping at Maurices(my fav) and turns out i could wear a sz 13 and even some 11's i was ecstatic!!! now i wear mostly 11's which makes me one sz away from my second mini goal

:bravo: To some these little NSVs may seem silly, but when you've been waiting to wear a certain outfit and working hard to do it, it's a HUGE thing!! Great job! :hug:

Man, there's a bunch of us in Japan...I'm jealous though...probably a lot warmer in Okinawa than Gunma. In any case, congrats!

I don't actually remember what my first NSV was, but it was certainly nice to realize that I didn't have to shop in the 大きいサイズsection anymore. Going from normal sections in the US to sometimes 3L or 4L here was a little soul crushing. My ankles and wrists poke out when I wear Japanese clothes, but I suppose that that's bound to happen when I'm about 5 cm taller than the upper limit on all of the tags >.<

I don't remember what my very first NSV was, but one of the more memorable ones (about 15 pounds in, I believe) was stepping on the hem of my jeans and suddenly feeling a breeze... good thing I de-pantsed myself at home!!
