Drivers license

Another post got me thinking...

What's the difference between your current weight and the weight listed on your drivers license?

I'm totally ashamed to say its nearly an 80lb difference. I had no idea I lied that much about my weight, but in my defense they automatically updated my license info from six years ago with out me changing anything but the picture the last time I renewed it.

Virginia dosen't put weights on your drivers licenes..I replaced mine 6 months ago, but old one was listed at 210 when I was around 235...My one before that, the first one, was listed at 190, when I was in H.S and weighted around 300 0.o...

This time when I was getting my new one, the paperwork asked for weight and I was 180 at the time...and I ended up putting that on the paperwork...first time I EVER gave my actual weight for anything...It still felt like an accomplishment even if it didn't end up on my actual licenes

Haha.. thank god its only about 18 lbs :D 160.. currently.. about 178? Idk dont weigh myself anymore.

I don't have a drivers license but my passport picture taken around November 2011. Difference of around 24-26lbs between then and now.

I always put my real weight on there. Right now mine says 255 and I have gained about 5lbs since then.

I had one that listed 220 last, which was also my real weight, and when I was younger one listed 180. Still my real weight at the time of listing.

I guess I never cared to fudge the number. It's not going to make it go away, I'm really 260 lbs and everyone can see, though I've been told I don't look 260lbs.

I don't know why we need to list weight though. Weight changes so often, unlike eye color and height. I could lose 50 lbs in the next year, but my license doesn't expire again until 2017.

Florida doesn't list weights on our DL. My husband is in the military, and my last military I.D. said 148 when I was probably around 165 at the time (6 years ago). We went to renew it last week and I was actually disappointed that they no longer list weight on the I.D. because I was excited to put my actual weight for once! lol

Connecticut doesn't list weight...or at least it didn't when I got my license in 2005...I've apparently grown an inch since I was 17 though. I'm probably about 15-30 lbs lighter than I was then...We'll see if they put weight on the "adult" license when I go to renew in April.

40 pounds

I had to get my license udpated earlier this year (turned 21) and I put 135 when I really weighed 155. Currently I'm sitting at 143ish.

Man, I wish Indiana and Illinois didn't list weight. haha! The last time I got mine re-newed, the lady said, height? weight? and I said, "uh, lets go with an even 200" lol... She didn't laugh, but I wish she did. I was obviously lying, and trying to make light of it. :nono::^:

Tennessee doesn't list weight either.

My passport pic was taken in 2008 at my highest weight ever of 247 and there's a (as of this morning) 50 pound difference. Crazy.

Happy to say mine says 140 and I weighed in at 137.6 today. Was a little upset because I was 139 last week and started this week at 140. But I got my Tom early and midway through finally shot down to 137 like overnight.

I had to edit. Turns out I had lost the license that said 140, I really fibbed on the new one. I wrote 135. But when I saw it, it gave me motivation to reach and surpass that weight. ;)

29 lb difference. I cannot wait to get my new driver's license next year on my birthday, because hopefully I will be below that weight, plus get to put a weight in Onederland and stay there!

epicskyline 12-24-2012 09:32 AM

My license says 190 lbs, and I got it when I was probably 270 lbs. Now I'm 173 and look nothing like my picture. I can't wait to get it renewed! I'll have to do it this summer before I try to make it through airport security. Who knows how much of a weight difference it will be by then.

Nayshal 12-27-2012 01:36 AM

I just looked at my license and saw that I actually weighed 185 lbs. The doctor in charge of the med exam was the one who wrote it (I would've put 160 haha) and this was about a month before I started losing weight.
